Load tests may be performed on-site, some restric ons apply o If the mechanical/opera onal test shows no signs of damage, the unit is placed in our ver cal hoist test stand and a sta c load test is performed. Test load force is determined by the manufacturer s recommenda ons. o If external parts require replacement, Super Slings will quote replacements before proceeding to the load test. If required repairs are extensive, Super Slings will also quote a replacement hoist for comparison. In the event a customer decides not to proceed with the recommended repairs, the hoist will be tagged out of service, returned and the minimum fee will be charged. o All tes ng is performed in compliance with ASME B.30.21 & B30.16. A er comple on of the load test, a second mechanical/opera onal test is performed to ensure the hoist is in good working condi on. 2 Full Comprehensive Inspec on (Periodic Inspec on ASME B30.16-1.3.3) Lever/Chain Hoist External Inspec on, Mechanical/Opera onal Test, Internal Inspec on & Service, Load Test, & Cer ficate o An external visual inspec on is done to all components on the unit that are accessible without complete unit disassembly including inspec on of the; Upper/Lower hook assembly, Chain, Latches, Load pins, Side plates, Gear cover, Iden fica on, Warning tag, Lever arm/ Free chain wheel. o If all external components pass the visual inspec on, a mechanical/opera onal test is performed to ensure the hoist is in good working condi on. o Internal Service: The hoist is dis-assembled and an internal visual inspec on is done to all components contained inside the hoists main housing. All internal components are cleaned and lubricated before reassembly o If the mechanical/opera onal and internal tests show no signs of damage, the unit is placed in our ver cal hoist test stand and a sta c load test is performed. Test load force is determined by the manufacturer s recommenda ons. o If internal components require replacement, Super Slings will quote replacements before proceeding to the load test.
