Kesel A strong company, a strong group Kesel Managing Director Martin K. Klug The people of the Allgäu have a reputation for stubbornness. However, in the Allgäu they use a different term: Mächelers, which translated means inventors, creators. The company founder Georg Kesel was one such Mächeler. He established the company in 1889, and worked throughout his life on the development of new products. Today, Kesel develops and produces machine tools and clamping systems. The range of machine tools encompasses in particular milling machines for racks and saw bands. A special product is the machine range for milling steering racks. In the clamping technology division, we offer a broad spectrum of systems with varying characteristics and clamping forces. We occupy specific market niches and we are technology leaders in many of our fields of activity. We supply to a broad customer base around the world, and in recent years we have driven forwards with our internationalisation and established our own distribution centre in China. Kesel is undoubtedly a traditional company, which has grown from a family company with over 125 years of history. A company with high principles, deeply rooted in the region and closely connected with its employees. Definitely a company in which one senses that the worker counts, and where loyalty is of the utmost importance. 2

Tradition and modernity We have been at home in the field of stationary workpiece clamping for over 60 years. This expertise flows constantly into the CAD-supported further development of our clamping systems and machine vices, which we offer with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic operation, thus providing a wide range of solutions for all clamping applications. We have gained an excellent reputation in particular in the field of power intensified high pressure machine vices, as well as single and centring vices, which are used on machine tools, machining centres, 5-axis-machines and other milling and/or drilling machines. Through precise in-house production and assembly, we ensure both the quality and reliability of our clamping devices, as well as the flexibility to react as quickly as possible to customer requirements such as special jaws, specific customisations and clamping attachments. Together with our national and international distribution partners, in Kesel you will always have a competent partner to help you resolve your clamping tasks. 3
