PACIFIC POWDER COATING & MANUFACTURING ISSUE #6 IN THIS ISSUE New & Noteworthy So many exciting things have been taking place at Pacific Powder Coating so far this year. We are excited to announce we are officially solar powdered and producing our own clean energy. This long time dream of the president, finally became a reality thanks to CitiGreen Solar. We now have 1,065 sparkling solar panels on top of our 40,000 square foot building, powering 92% of our entire facility!! (See picture above). In other news, Pacific Powder is honored to say we have been awarded The Family Owned Small Business Award for the Sacramento Region by the U.S. Small Business Administration! We were nominated among other local family owned businesses by our partners at Wells Fargo. We attended the award ceremony that honored 12 diverse regional companies this year, as a part of its annual recognition program. We are so proud to be a family owned and operated facility for the past 29 years! Lastly, for those of you that don t know, we have officially opened our second building! We are incredibly excited to be expanding and growing as a business. We look forward to producing with increased capacity and further surpassing our current and future customers expectations. Please keep in mind, our main office (i.e. Accounts Payable) address has not changed. In addition to our manufacturing expansion, we are currently installing another automated powder line! The addition of our fourth line will add considerable capacity and allow us to grow with our customers. We hope to fire the new line up September 15 th. P A G E 2 Get to Know: Our Management Team Pacific Powder Coating has recently promoted a few of our own to upper management! General Manager We are estatic to announce Gabriel Ayala is now our General Manager. He has been with us for 20 years now and has been the Powder Coating Supervisor for the past 15 years. Most of you are well aquainted with Gabe. If you ever have any questions regarding the process for powdercoating, he s your guy! Business Manager After 13 years with Pacific Powder Coating and wearing many different hats as Office Manager, Hayley Krug has been promoted to Business Manager! She is now responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys finacial and business affairs.

6 My Perspective Given the looks of things one could say that the economy has finally started moving along again. Personally I think businesses simply have gotten tired not doing what they are supposed to do and that is produce at a high level! Pacific Powder Coating & Manufacturing is growing in leaps and bounds. At times it feels like we are on a stagecoach with unruly horses raging out of control. Don t get me wrong, I m not complaining as I have experienced the alternative and it s much less fun. PPC has recently purchased another building right around the corner from our current location. We have moved all of our manufacturing processes into this new building. This has greatly increased our capacity to manufacture quality metal parts for our customers. In the space vacated we are currently erecting a new state of the art automated powder coating line which will be up and running by September 15 th 2016. This new line will effectively double our powder coating capacity! As if the aforementioned was not enough, PPC has recently finished having a solar system installed on our 23 rd Avenue building which generates virtually all of the power required to run our powder coating operations. What do they say, make hay while the sun is shining. Here at PPC we are going to make some hay and a bunch of power! A huge PPC thank you to all of our customers that helped us make last year the best in the history of our company.
