EXTERIOR PAINTING STANDARDS The attached pages illustrate the painting standards for several styles of SCLH homes. Please note that all colors shall be chosen from one palette. Additional accent color palettes for front doors and shutters are available at the front of the Paint Color Binder. The policy for painting the exterior of your house is as follows: 1. Select a color palette from the Exterior Paint Color Binder. Make sure you review the Exterior Painting Standards on the next pages to determine what paint color can be used on the various parts of the home. You may obtain paint samples at a nominal cost from your paint store to test the colors on your house. 2. Fill out the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) Paint Application and submit it in the ARC Drop Box, located in the Resident Information Center, for approval.
