BRIEF HISTORY 2014 is the 50 th anniversary of their issue on 19 th February, 1964. This was the last issue of First definitive issue to be printed in photogravure by Harrison & Sons All stamps were designed by Victor Whiteley On 17 th January, 1966, an issue with these stamps were released overprinted Independence/ 11 th November, 1965 According to the Mash Guide, the 10/- was officially withdrawn on 17 th November, 1965, only to re-appear overprinted. The issue was withdrawn from sale on 8 th February 1966, the day before similarly designed stamps were released, but this time inscribed Rhodesia The stamps were invalidated on 1 st July, 1969
