Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship and Leadership Concept Note Introduction We at Amity Business School propose to launch a journal under the broad umbrella of Entrepreneurship and Leadership which would focus on studies and publications related to new venture creation, innovation and leadership. We propose to call the journal as Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship and Leadership (AJEL). The proposed Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship and Leadership (AJEL) would be multidisciplinary forum for the publication of articles; research and discussion of the issue that bear upon and enfold the field of Entrepreneurship. Disciplinary boundaries that straddle entrepreneurship theory and research include economic, psychology, sociology, management and others. The appropriate and related topics to entrepreneurship include intrapreneurship, social entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, business incubation, organization behavior, ethical/moral notions guiding entrepreneurial behavior, entrepreneurial marketing and entrepreneurial finance fall under the umbrella of AJEL. The proposed Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship and Leadership (AJEL) would be a double blind peer reviewed, refereed journal publishing original research papers, articles, book reviews, and case study. The Journal proposes to bring together influential strategists, practitioners, policy-makers and students who share their views on the most challenging issues falling under the broad domain of entrepreneurship. The mission of Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship and Leadership is to provide a quality research platform for academicians and practitioners from academia and the industry.
AJEL Objectives: Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship and Leadership (AJEL) Proposes to meet the quality and integrity requirements of journal evaluation organizations. Proposed AJEL editorial staff and reviewers will work with authors to develop and improve submissions providing constructive commentary and evaluation to improve the submission and the author's writing capabilities. The organizing body would work towards getting journal listed and indexed in reputed databases. S. No. Proposed Policy 1. The Editor-in-Chief proposes to follow the Scholarly Peer Review process. This process is also known as refereeing. In this the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (and often narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform impartial review. 2.
