Amena Awni Alqurmah Mood Disorders Therapy Center Designing a female targeted mental health care facility located in Jeddah, specializing in the treatment of mood disorders. The center aims to change the negative stigma associated with mental illness and to normalize the publicity of modern therapeutic techniques. There has been a dynamic increase in the number of people falling into the trap of mood disorders.
Arwa Khalid Huwait Jeddah s Creative Research Box It is a center that facilitates communication, creativity and production amongst students. This project aims to design and accommodate a space that fulfills the needs of students and future designers of Jeddah due to the lack of space that can accommodate them after school, as universities and other facilities. Aseel Mohammed Habis Youth Islamic Center To design an Islamic center with three main aspects: Islamic worship, daily activities, & self-development. The idea behind it is to enable youth in making a positive contribution towards the well-being & enhancement of the social and cultural environment where they live. Also, to help them assess their aims in life and set goals to realize their full potential.
Asraa Mohammed Zamzame Good Health Cooking Academy To create an organic culinary academy that teaches female students about the art of healthy cooking. It will have theoretical and practical classes; so they can learn both ways. Furthermore, it will have many facilities to help the students academically and experientially, such as a greenhouse for planting their ingredients and a restaurant that is managed by the students. Badriah Jamal Bantan Almerkaz Visitor Center The visitor center s mission is to promote & enhance the heritage of Hejazi Culture. It will revive the historical area itself by creating a center that organizes the activities regarding Hejazi heritage under one roof. Designing a center that can serve the needs of visitors & tourists. It will help to in crease the market of local historical tourism. Also, the inclusion of a library with original historical books.
Bayan Saeed Bin Rabaa Hijazi Handicraft Training Center This project will add significant changes to the historical area in Jeddah (al-balad). Thus, rather than visitors coming to just visit heritage sites, they can come to know many of the Hejazi crafts used in the past. The goal of this training center is to revive old crafts, and to restore Jeddah s history. Danyah Khalid Al-madani Interior Design Center The aim of this project is to let students from different levels and backgrounds help each other, collaborate, and share experiences. Senior students can benefit from the center when they need professionals to help them in their senior projects. It is also to help students with beginner s projects to stand up and learn how to deal with real life.
Futoon Khalil Abualata Wellness Resort for Senior Citizens The resort will be designed to convey the five dimensions of wellness: physical, environmental, social, spiritual, and emotional. This resort will fulfill the needs of health care and services such as physical checkups, meetings with their families, whilst ensuring that they are not alone. Noran Murad Murad Meditation Center The selected Project will be a Meditation Center; a spiritual space for individuals to have a peaceful place where they can think and clear their minds. Hana Ehab Khashoggi Boutique Hotel The aim of this project is to revive our Islamic glory and achievements by bringing Islamic architecture back to life. Today, people don t know much about our history and amazing architecture. By providing a Boutique Hotel that supports this concept, a lot of people will learn more about it. Jana Azzam Idrees Youth Center The center aims to embrace youth in society, and provides a good influence in a space that gives them positive energy. The purpose of this recreation center is giving youth the opportunity to develop their skills, and improve their habits. Therefore, it will reflect in their personality, physical activities and social meetings.
Kareman Mutea Al Jamal Down Syndrome Help Center This center is specialized in educational classes: math, sciences, languages & religion. Also, it provides fun activities by having a theater to present comical plays. It has a therapy area that includes emergency clinics and a sensory stimulation room for the latest cases of Down-Syndrome children. Lujain Yaser Osailan Female Students Dormitory To create a collaborative residence conducive to student s intellectual and social development. Various programs and activities will be designed to foster their knowledge and exploration, whilst providing the latest technology and inventions to fulfill learning and experimental needs.
Manahel Majed Ajlan Up-Cycling Square The project is all about making a recycling center. Its main goal is to help society by providing jobs for needy and unemployed females. The aim of this project is the awareness of the community to adapt a sustainable life style by providing a functional plan that will have two main parts, both public and private. Refal Wadee Badr Art Therapy Center This project is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve and heal a person s physical, mental, and emotional well-being simultaneously. The project will reflect the identity of Saudi women, by providing new specific workshops and classes such as metal, wood, calligraphy, drawing and painting studios.
Roba Osman Ashkan Pladerma Clinics The project aims to bring back awareness of cosmetic medicine and to enlighten people s minds about how to embrace real beauty; inner beauty. This clinic will provide the best consultation for each patient, other than the technical clinical department, as well as the relaxation area. Salwa Mohammed Bawazeer Etqan Career Development Center The intent of this design is to help users in planning and developing skills regarding their career path. Therefore, the center was planned to progress from a closed space where users can get consultation regarding their education and career path, to an open space where they can receive high skill training services.
Sara Abdullah Al-Tasan Jeddah Children Library The aim is to achieve a child-friendly space that will attract and encourage them as well as fill them with excitement, whilst providing a layered experience that works well with younger ones at varying ages. Using sustainable materials with healthy finishes, comfortable seating, and access to daylight will make the whole experience unique. Sarah Faiz Aljohani Grandma Cuisine The project is a combination between a restaurant and an institute to preserve Hejazi cuisine. The restaurant will provide Hijazi dishes. Grandma Cuisine is inspired by the heritage of Hejazi architecture and antique holdings, which are distributed on the corners, corridors and Windows.
