High Power Strobe LED Light Units/Control Unit Innovative Applications Using the flash as a camera shutter Example Camera exposure period LDR-3SW + PTU LDR-PF-36SW + PF-A448-56 μs 4 μs Long strobe time due to lack of brightness leads to image blurring. High power emission enables instantaneous imaging. Eliminating image blur Horizontal blur Long exposure period and insufficient brightness result in image blur. The shortened exposure time reduces blur. Dim Bright When used for a fast moving production line, image blurring results. Applicable for fast moving production lines. Vertical blur Adjusting aperture to compensate for dim lighting reduces depth of field. High brightness allows for smaller aperture and increased depth of field. Dim Depth of field Shallow Bright Depth of field Deep Vertical vibration Vertical vibration 3 Vibration causes image blur. Image unaffected by vibration.
Other Features Wide variety of available Light Units Choose the appropriate Light Unit according to the type of workpiece and inspection. The product lineup includes a total of models. Ring Lights Outer diameter Ø36, Ø54, Ø75 Two colors of LEDs available: white and red. Bar Lights Coaxial Lights Emitting surface size 5x8, x8, 5x8, 5x3, x3, 5x3 Emitting 34x38, 5x5 surface size Freely adjustable flash timing You can use the lighting delay time setting of the Control Unit to adjust the timing of the flash to be within the exposure period of the camera. Exposure period of camera Insufficient amount of light Lighting delay time Strobing before the exposure period of the camera leads to an insufficient amount of light. Delaying the timing of the flash enables strobing within the exposure period of the camera.
