There is a great deal f wrk that the students are expected t cmplete in this class absences will severely limit yur ability t cmplete the required assignments. Excused absences must be reviewed with the instructr. If yu knw yu will be missing a class yu must review it with the instructr befre the missed class and all wrk due must be turned in ahead f time. If yu miss class fr illness r an emergency, yu must cntact the instructr by e-mail r vice mail befre class t btain an excused absence. Any assignments due must be turned in at the beginning f yur first class back. Class exercise pints (15 per class) will be earned ONLY if a student is present in-class. At the discretin f the instructr, pints can be deducted fr missing supplies, arriving late r leaving early, nt cmpleting an interim hmewrk assignment, lack f effrt, etc. Late Wrk: Assignments may be turned in up t ne week after the riginal due date. After that date, assignments will nt be accepted. All late assignments will be reduced by 10% (ne letter grade). The Perspective Jurney (final assignment) will NOT be accepted late. Assignments will als NOT be accepted if the student has nt been regularly attending classes. Assignments cmpleted in previus semesters will nt be accepted. Withdrawal: The last day t withdraw frm this class is Saturday, Nvember 14, 2015. After that date, students may file a Petitin fr Late Withdrawal thrugh the Registratin Office. Petitins fr Late Withdrawal will be granted fr extenuating circumstances nly, including student illness, death in the immediate family, family emergencies, call t active duty, r ther apprpriate extenuating circumstances. The student will be required t prvide apprpriate dcumentatin fr all requests fr Late Withdrawal. Prir t withdrawing frm this class, students are encuraged t speak with the instructr.
