APPLICATION LETTER Application letter is one of the documents to be included when we apply for a job. In fact, application letter is like an introduction letter or covering letter in which we mention all of the documents and requirements attached.
In Indonesia, the most common documents and attachments to be enclosed with the application letter are: Resume or Curriculum Vitae Photo Copies of certificates or diplomas Copy of identification card (ID card) Letter of recommendation Health certificates Police clearance 3
Two Types of Application Letter: Solicited letter Solicited letter is an application letter that is sent to a company that advertises its vacancies through the media. Unsolicited letter Unsolicited letter is an application letter that is sent to a company although you do not know whether there is a vacancy or not in that company. 4

The following are worth language points to be looked at when writing a letter for a position: 6
1. Expressing how you get the information about the vacancy.
