About Panorama Panorama is set to revolutionise solid surfacing in interior fit-out and refurbishment, providing press-rolled quarry clays, granite rocks and ceramic pigments which are precision cut to make enchanting tiles. The tiles boast uniform size, consistent thickness and clean-cut edges, and a truly authentic stone look. The exceptionally hardwearing and graffiti proof glass-coated surface is complemented by a unique fibre glass backing to the tile, making them equally robust during application. At only 3.5mm thick, Panorama tiles can be overlaid on existing surfaces, eliminating the disruption of removing old materials. The 1m x 3m largest tile is bigger than any other solid tiles on the market and provides opportunity for stunning design. Yet the unique properties of Panorama also make it possible to easily cut tiles down to whatever size is required. A simple choice in sizes Panorama tiles come in just two sizes: 1 metre square and 1 metre by 3 metres. However, this straightforward choice does not restrict design opportunities as every tile can be simply cut down using a standard glass cutter. This unique feature provides unrivalled flexibility both in design and fitting. Where required, Kinorigo can provide Panorama tiles in non-standard specified sizes, based on a nominal cutting charge. Panorama in use Panorama offers unique properties that make it both easy to use and suitable for a diverse range of applications. Its thin construction is exceptionally durable, yet flexible enough to apply to curved surfaces of up to 5m radius. Easy to sanitise and requiring no maintenance other than cleaning, it is an ideal material for floors and walls in hospitals, surgeries and dentists, as well as commercial environments, public places and residential settings. Cutting Panorama tiles is straightforward and fast, requiring nothing more than a standard glass cutter to score the tile before snapping to size. Rough edges can be removed with a common abrasive sponge. Drilling Panorama tiles is equally trouble-free, with standard tile drills easily penetrating the material but not damaging the tile s resistance. Finally, laying of Panorama tiles is both convenient and time-saving, which in turn saves costs. The lightness of the material makes it easy to handle and process, whilst the size of the tiles leaves you with less joints and faster coverage. Applications Exterior and Interior - Owing to the excellent physical and mechanical properties of the product, it is ideal for both outdoor and indoor coatings and floors making it ideal for residential, public, commercial and healthcare. Design and Furniture - The large size, teamed with the lightweight nature resulting from the reduced thickness, makes them ideal for coating kitchens, splashbacks, worktops, wardrobes, partitions, furniture and any other surface. Panorama Treadsafe Treadsafe is a, enhanced version of the tiles in our Panorama ceramic range, offering superior grip underfoot. Treadsafe offers the same stunning looks, unbeatable durability and incredible thinness (3.5mm) as standard Panorama tiles, but with a ly developed coating that transforms slip resistance, opening up hundreds of potential applications. Treadsafe has achieved the DIN R12 rating (see panel), the second-highest level of slip resistance. Materials certified R12 have sufficient slip resistance to be used for sloping outdoor ramps (such as those for disabled access), uncovered loading platforms and catering facilities, as well as demanding industrial settings such as dairy processing factories and storage areas for oils and fats. Using the TRL pendulum tester, Treadsafe achieves far better results than both porcelain and limestone and, incredibly, loses only a little of its grip in wet conditions. Although only recently introduced, Treadsafe has already been used in the ly constructed Stratford Olympic Westfield Shopping Centre. We have also secured an order to supply Treadsafe for an ocean cruise liner the perfect location for a light, goodlooking tile that will help travellers keep their footing on the high seas. What is R12? In the DIN 51130 and 51097 tests (also known as the ramp tests ), Treadsafe achieves the R12 rating the second-highest possible grip rating. R12 indicates that a surface tiled with Treadsafe can be tilted to an angle of up to 35º from the horizontal before people start to slip when walking across it. Obviously, very few tiled walkways or even ramps are built on such a steep incline, meaning that Treadsafe offers almost perfect grip on gentler inclines and level surfaces.
