Suasie is part of a Natural Reserve and it is in the damping lands of the Natural National Chingaza Park at 3100 m.a.s.l. It s the ideal place for bird watching and nature tourism. With more than 100 endemic and almostendemic species of birds it is also a temporary home for the Andean bear and other animals that inhabit this ecosystem. Another treasure you will find are orchids which embellish the fog forest, which we preserv and love like a sancturay. To appreciate and know this place we have designed different types of trails and viewpoints so you can enjoy the magic of this place. We invite you to live a rural experience in our house in the mountain with local food and sleep with the bird s trill. ALL OF OUR SERVICES WITH PRIOR RESERVE. One-day per person (at least 6 persons) Suasie entrance fee with local guides. One snack Hot beverage in the house at any time. Suasie is a viewpoint overlooking the White River basin, a rural farm in which we work with families of the region. Our house consists of 4 rooms of which we offer3 to visitors. It has two bathrooms, one internal and one external and big social areas Aditional Services Specialized bilingual guiding. TTransportation from Bogotá. National and Natural Chingaza Park visit. Workshops for groups. Recomendations Where is Suasie located? Suasie is located near to Bogotá in the zone known as the bear nook, between La Calera and Guasca. The entrance is through La Calera town taking the road to the PNNC (National and Natural Chingaza Park). The road gets you to the house directly. Comfortable and warm clothing and footwear, jacket waterproof and change clothes. Sun block Camera The farm is about 3,100 meters above sea level. (if you have heart problems it is better that you consult with your doctor). It is prohibited to throw garbage and / or collect animal or plant material of the area nor bring any pet.
