FRONT-CENTER 2) Start your wall panel assembly in a corner. Two wall panels are required to make up each corner. Place the first panel on the base rail, sliding it to the corner until its 2x2 framework is flush with the outside of the base frame (2A). 2 3 2 1 9 2A 3) Have someone stabilize the first panel. Place the second panel on the base rail and slide it toward the first panel, ensuring its 2x2 framework butts up tight against the framework of the first panel (3A). Fasten the two panels together from the outside of the room through the pre-drilled holes using the 3 torx screws provided (3B). 3A 2 3" Torx Screw 1 3B Page 4 of 13

Wall Panel Installation, continued 4) Continue setting the panels into place as marked. NOTICE: The 4B door panel should be installed prior to installing the last adjoining panel. For ease in installing the remaining panels, tilt the top of each panel back to help start the alignment of the tongue and groove (4A). Use a 3 torx screw at a 45 angle through the pre-drilled holes to draw the adjoining panels together along the top (4B). Be sure the head of the screw is flush with or driven slightly below the surface of the 2x2 framing material. 4C 4E To fasten the rear panels at the peak, use the provided metal wood fastener 4A (4C). The center beam will provide necessary stability once installed. Once the door panel has been installed (4D) and secured with a 3 torx screw (4E), install the final corner panel (4F) and secure. 4D 4F Finally, from the inside of the room, note the various cut-outs of the T&G along the bottom of the panels. Through these cut-outs, fasten the wall panels to the base frame assembly with 3 torx screws (4G). 4G Page 5 of 13

Support Beam Installation 5) Note the three different support beam profiles for each location (5A). 5A LEFT CENTER RIGHT (when faced from front of room) Insert the tapered beam into the top of the side panel (5B). 5B Secure the beams to the side panels with 3 torx screws through the pre-drilled holes (5C). Repeat beam installation for the remaining side panel. Insert the 5-sided center beam into the top of the front and back panels (5D). 5C Be sure that the rear portion of the beam is fully seated (no gap) into the rear of the back panel. Secure the beam to the front and back panels with 3 torx screws (5E). 5D Page 6 of 13 5E

Ceiling/Roof Panel Installation 6) Center the provided foam tape along the top perimeter of the wall panels and beams. This is done to give a better seal once the ceiling/roof panels are installed. With one person inside the sauna room and another outside, pass the ceiling panel over the top of the sidewall being careful not to scratch the underside T&G. Align the top beveled edge with the peak of the center beam (6A). Note: Roof panel positioning. 6A The front face of the ceiling/roof panel should extend 2 past the front face of the beams to allow for decorative end caps to be installed in a later step (6B). 6B Square up the roof panel with the room and secure each roof panel through the top with 5 torx screws along the top beams (3 each) as well as the lower beam (3 each) and wall panels (6C). 6C Page 7 of 13

The following section covers installation of corrugated steel roofi n g. 7) All of the steel sheets are identical in size and form, but it is important to align them properly. 7A Layout the steel roofing panels to determine the coverage that best suits the size of roof. On most models, the panels will have a single overlap over the top of one another (7A). Position the multiple metal roof panels to be centered on Patio roof panel (7B). NOTE: Depending on the room model the steel roofing may not be flush with the front and back edges of the roof. Any gaps between the metal roofing and front and rear edge of the roof will later be covered with fascia (7C). 7B Position each steel panel onto the roof making sure each one is square before securing the metal roofing panels at the peak with the 1-1/2 roofing screws. NOTE: The bottom ridge of the metal roof panels should be positioned directly over the fascia. 7C Add the mesh filler material along the bottom edge of the roof panels to the under side of the metal roofing to fill the gap of the metal corrugation. Continue to use the provided 1-1/2 screws, fasten the steel to the roof panels by running the screws through the low part of the corrugation and into the panel framework (7D). It is recommended to put 12 screws in each panel. Page 8 of 13 7D

Fascia Installation 8) Install one of the pieces of steel fascia on the gable-end of the roof so the top edge of it aligns with the peak of the roof. Depending on how the roofing material was installed, you may need to trim the bottom edge of the fascia close to the eave. Fasten it with four of the 2 1/2 screws, on the front face (gable side) of the facia (8A). Place the second piece of fascia on the roof, again aligning it with the roof peak (8B). With a pencil, and a level, mark a vertical line running down from the peak (8C). Cut this corner off the fascia (8D). 8A Re-position this piece of fascia and fasten it the same (8E). 8B 8C 8D 8E Safety Cap Installation 9) Push the open side of this cap onto the edge of your gable end fascia (9A). Slide the cap into place (9B). Figure 9C shows the safety cap in place. 9A 9B 9C NOTE: There are four small pieces to go on your open ends, one piece for each corner. For added security you may add a small amount of glue or adhesive to the channel of the gasket before you apply it to the metal. Page 9 of 13

Ridge Cap Installation 10) Apply the mesh filler material along the top edge of the corrugated steel roof panels (10A). The strips should be placed just under the edge of the ridge cap. Place the ridge cap on the peak of the roof (10B). Align the ridge cap so it is flush with the front and back fascias. Using the 2 1/2 screws, fasten your ridge cap by running five evenly placed screws through the ridge cap and into the panel framework (10C). IMPORTANT: Do not over tighten the screws or you may deform the steel. Mesh Filler Mesh Filler 10A 10B 10C Exterior Trim Installation Note: Applies to wood and maintenance free trim. 11) Install the 90 corner caps on each of the exterior corners of the room (11A). The front corner caps are notched to fit around the roof beams (11B). Secure with nails. 11A 11B Locate your beveled eave trim as shown on page 2. Install one piece under the roof overhang where the T&G from the roof panel meets the exterior sidewall. (11C). To fasten the trim, use a pneumatic pin-nailer (if available) or finishing nails. 11C Install another piece where the primary fascia meets the T&G from the roof panel (11D). Decorative Cap Eave Trim Finally, fasten the decorative end caps to the front ends of each beam (11D). Eave Trim 11D Page 10 of 13

Electrical Rough-in NOTICE: Electrical installation should be completed by a qualified, licensed Electrician. NOTICE: Typically, the supply wires to the sauna system will enter the room on the right exterior sidewall. Refer to the Sauna Heater Installation and Operating Instructions for specific wire size informat i o n. NOTICE: Ty p i c a l ly, t h e supply w i r e s to t h e l i g h t i n g c i r c u i t w i l l enter t h e r o o m o n t h e r e a r exterior w a l l. After reading the Lighting Installation Manual, refer to the Sauna Heater and/or Control Installation and Operating Instructions for further details. 12) Electrical access boards will be labeled or left open to allow ease of electrical wiring. Use the access boards to route wires to the lights, controls, and heater. Cut through the foil vapor and move the insulation aside to expose the panel framework. Once the wiring is complete, cover the electrical accesses with the provided modified T&G boards (the back groove has been removed for easy installation) and pin-nail to fasten. Interior Trimming 13) Cover the remaining access holes in the T&G along the base with the provided T&G shorts using a pin nailer or finishing nails (13A). As was done with the electrical access, the back groove has been removed for easy installation. NOTICE: De p e n d i n g o n t h e s a u n a r o o m, t h e v e n t va lv e a n d grille m a y already have been installed at the factory. 13A Fasten the vent valve to the rear interior wall of the sauna with the provided 1-1/4 stainless steel screws (13B). Align it so when opened it completely exposes the vent hole. 13B Fasten your interior vent grill to the inside of the sauna where the heater is to be mounted, typically along the front wall (13C). 13C Page 11 of 13

Interior Trimming, continued 14) The cove molding (3/4 x 1 ) will be provided longer than needed to allow trimming to exact size to insure a tight fit. Measure each wall to determine cut length. A simple butt-end cut is the easiest. If you prefer a mitre joint, the molding is long enough to accommodate that type of cut as well. Cut molding straight, then butt the pieces together (14A). Using #4 finishing nails (Pneumatic nailer preferred), nail the cove molding to the interior walls. Once the molding is secured to the walls nail it through the bottom & into the ceiling to help keep it in place. Install cove molding on each side of the room where the ceiling meets the wall panels and on the gable-ends of your room. 14A Bench Installation In standard cases, the benches are positioned with the upper bench against the back wall of the sauna, and the lower bench parallel to it. There are four bench support boards: two that are 22-3/4 long for the upper bench, and two that are 46 long (length can vary with sauna model), for the lower bench. This extended length will allow the lower bench to slide under the top bench for ease in cleaning. Bench configuration will most likely be different with custom designed rooms. NOTE: The interior walls have been marked at the heights you should attach the bench supports, generally top bench support at 30 and lower bench support at 12 off the floor. These are the heights of the top edge of the bench supports, not the top of the benches! 15 Position the bench supports about 1/4 away from the back walls. Making sure they are level, use 3 screws and pre-drilled holes to secure the bench supports to the walls (photo N ). Be sure to install screws in all the pre-drilled holes. When installed at the height noted, the 3 screws will line up with the internal framing of the panels for necessary strength. 16 Install the benches, starting with the bottom bench first. Note that one side of the bench is finished, while the other has exposed framing. (This may vary with custom designed rooms). The bench should be installed with the finished face forward. Unless instructed otherwise, the benches do not need to be fastened to the walls. pencil line will be marked on the panels N Page 12 of 13

Backrest Installation Some sauna models include backrests. Actual installation height will vary, depending upon the height of the sauna owner/ user. Position it so the backrest is in the mid-back/shoulder blade area... whatever feels most comfortable. A standard height is 20 from top of bench to top of backrest. 18 Making sure the backrest is level, hold it at your preferred height, fasten it to the wall through the predrilled holes, using 2 screws (photo P). Wood plugs are provided to cover the exposed screw head. 19 Repeat step 18 if more than one backrest is included. Typically one backrest for each upper bench is included. P Heater Guard Installation 20 Place the heater guard around the heater as described in your heater instructions. Spacing may vary according to heater kilowatt. NOTE: The front rails of the 2-sided heater guard can be cut to desired length before assembly. Sauna Heater Installation 21) Refer to your Sauna Heater Installation and Operating Instructions for sauna heater and control installation information. Page 13 of 13
