Elizabeth Kays Birt Liz brings a wealth of experience to her role as Senior Curricula Developer and Trainer. She began her career in human resources and grew into management. Passionate about supporting employee learning and growth, she moved into professional development. She has developed and delivered numerous seminars and workshops to clients in public and private sectors. Her areas of specialty include Conflict Management, Ethics, Diversity, and Business Process. Liz holds degrees and diplomas in Arts, Adult and Continuing Education, and Human Resource Management. Passionate about lifelong learning, Liz is currently working towards a Master of Education in Leadership and Learning.

Ian Carr Born and raised in Northumberland, England, Ian graduated from London and Newcastle Universities with degrees in Education, Fine/Industrial Arts, and Design and Development. When he immigrated to Canada, he completed a Master of Education degree. He is an experienced teacher, college instructor, university lecturer, and programme developer. He is also an AWENS Certified Workplace Instructor. Since 1998, Ian has worked almost exclusively with adults in the workplace. He has designed and delivered a variety of programs to individuals and groups across private, public, and not for profit sectors. Ian has been the recipient of a number of awards, both Federal and Provincial. Ian s particular areas of expertise include employee management, performance, and computer literacy. June Sanderson June has devoted her entire career to education. She has worked at all levels in the public education system, primarily in the counseling field. She also has several years of experience as a counseling consultant. As such, she has designed and delivered programs for privately held firms as well as the Prince Edward Island Department of Education. June is an avid volunteer. She is a member of the Red Cross emergency response team and has recently returned from a fire recovery deployment to Slave Lake. She also coordinates Go! Cornwall hiking and snowshoeing initiatives, and is the chair for Trinity Church Christian Development Committee. June has undergraduate degrees in science and education as well as a Master of Education in Counseling.
Lori Mayne Lori is a professional writer and educator with more than 15 years of communications experience in media, classroom, and corporate environments. She instructs post secondary courses and professional development workshops in areas related to writing, communications, and media. In her work as a writer, Lori produces articles and communications material, provides editing and coaching services, and identifies media opportunities for both businesses and non profit organizations. In her previous work as a P.E.I. journalist, Lori produced more than 2,000 news stories and photographs during an eight year period at a daily newspaper in Summerside. Lori holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Journalism degrees. Her areas of specialty include writing, communications, and effective feedback.
Michelle Bliss Michelle has experience in IT and client relations across various sectors. She worked with the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans while completing her formal education and then moved to London, England, where she worked for the Business and Technology Education Council, a special taskforce initiative for facilitators. She went on to work in client relations for the investment bank Citibank UK and ADP Financial Information Services UK. From 1999 2004, she consulted in the IT sector for several international banks until her move back to Prince Edward Island in 2005. Michelle has been with Ceridian since 2007. Chris Landry Chris has spent the past 15 years in dedicated service to Island EMS as a Paramedic. His experience has included emergency field work, regulatory work with Department of Health, and training. He has been a certified instructor for 17 years and, as such, has provided training for public, private, and not forprofit clients. Chris is certified to train at an HCP level in CPR, WHMIS, and EFA. Chris is a dedicated volunteer firefighter and holds a Level I diploma as a Primary Care Paramedic.
Julie Compton Julie has 10 years of dedicated service as a licensed practical nurse. The majority of this time has been spent at Prince County Hospital in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. She has been instructing CPR and WHMIS at the HCP level since 2009. She is also a licensed trainer for Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI). She has trained in both public and private sectors. Julie is an avid volunteer with PEI Arthritis Society and Summerside Minor Hockey. She holds diplomas in Business and Accounting, and practical nursing. now How Template
Diane Cutcliffe Diane joined the Ceridian team, on a part time basis, in May 2012, as a result of the successful partnership, between Ceridian Canada Inc. and the Province of Prince Edward Island. Diane also continues to work with the provincial Public Service Commission in the Staffing, Classification and Organization Development Division as the Corporate Human Resource Planning Consultant. Diane s formal education was in the fields of sociology and psychology. She attended Vanier CEGEP and Concordia University in Montreal, the University of Prince Edward Island and the University of Western Ontario for the Master of Arts program in Sociology. She is a committed life long learner and has attended numerous programs throughout her career. Diane has worked in both the private and public sectors as an employee as well as a consultant. Business process design, organization development, program evaluation, planning and policy development are common elements of her work. Her current work priorities include enhancing employee engagement and contributing to the development of the PEI public service as a results oriented, learning organization. 10
