Safety and Care dvice Important - Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly Check you have all the components and tools listed on pages 2 and 4. Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and seperate them into their groups. Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts could choke if swallowed. Do not stand or put weight on the product, this could cause damage. ssemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible. ssemble on a soft level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor. We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers. Do Not dispose of packaging until assembly complete. Make sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting. Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people. Dispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly when assembly complete. Care and maintenance To protect the furniture, position the furniture out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources such as radiators and fires. Do not place the furniture in excessively dry and humid conditions. From time to time check that there are no loose screws on this unit. lways lift furniture when moving it (do not drag) otherwise the joints may be damaged. Do not place hot or cold objects on the surface, always use protective mats to avoid marking the furniture. This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take to your local authority waste disposal centre. Clean spills up immediately Dust surfaces with a soft, dry, lint free cloth. More stubborn marks can be removed using a damp (not wet) cloth. Wipe the surface dry immediately using a soft lint free cloth. Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning products or cleaning products that contain ammonia, solvents or silicone as these may damage the surface finish. 1

ssembly Instructions Step 1 Fitting dowels to top panel (x4) 8753 Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. Do not over tighten. Step 2 Fitting cams to plinths and bottom. (x8) 8754 8553 Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole. Step 3 Fitting cams & dowels to end panels. (x4) (x8) Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole. 8756 5 Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. Do not over tighten.
ssembly Instructions Step 4 ttach bottom panel to left hand end panel. Insert dowels in left hand end panel into the already inserted cams in bottom panel. 8754 Turn cam 180 degrees to lock Step 5 ttach plinth to the left hand end panel. Insert dowels in left hand end panel into the already inserted cams in the plinth and ensure flush. Turn cam 180 degrees to lock Step 6 8553 Ensure plinth sits flush. Ensure plinth does not overhang. ttach plinth and the bottom panel to right hand end panel. Insert dowels in right hand end panel into the already inserted cams in the plinth and ensure flush. 8756 8754 Turn cam 180 degrees to lock 8553 6
ssembly Instructions Step 7 ttach the top panel to the end panels. Insert dowels in the top panel into the already inserted cams in the end panels. 8753 8756 Turn cam 180 degrees to lock Step 8 Prepare the unit to fit the back panel. IMPORTNT! ENSURE TPE MESURE IS USED TO SQURE UP UNIT! Measure to external corners efore securing the back it is necessary to square up the unit. You can do this by measuring between - and - ensuring these are the same (DIG 1). If they are not (DIG 2) pply slight pressure as indicated (DIG 3) until they are the same. DIG 1 DIG 2 DIG 3 7
ssembly Instructions Step 9 ttach backpanel to bottom Secure backpanel to bottom, end panels and the top using the panel pins provided. D (x30) E (x1) 8752 IMPORTNT! The back panel is taped and folded. e sure to take care when unfolding. Use the panel pin guide when locating the panel pins. This will hold the panel pins vertically and ensure the correct distance from the edge. 8753 TPED SIDE 8757 D 8756 8754 E Step 10 Turn unit upright to attach shelf studs. number of holes are drilled in each end panel so that the shelves are adjustable. C (x8) Once you have decided upon the location of the shelves, insert the shelf studs as shown. Holes for shelf studs PUSH! 8756 8
ssembly Instructions Step 11 ttach shelf panels. Sit the shelf panels on top of the shelf studs (inserted in the previous step). 5635 8756 Helpful Hint Changing the position of the shelves. To alter the position of the shelves, you may be able to remove the shelf studs but simply pulling them out with your hands. GRIP GENTLY! If this does not work, use pliers by gripping the shelf stud (using minimal force) and pulling them out gently. 9
ssembly Instructions Step 9 Fixing to wall We recommend that this unit is fixed to a suitable wall to prevent possible overbalancing. We have included a fixing bracket for this. No fixing screws are provided as they will need to suit the wall type, and the length of screw will depend on the distance from the back of the unit to the wall. Please ensure fixings used are appropriate to your wall type. Locate the bracket to the top panel or to the end panel as close to top as possible. We do not specify an exact location for the bracket, this is left to the customer s discretion. With help move the unit into position. Warning: 2 people to lift. Lift with care. F (x1) G (x2) SECURE! NOT SECURE! Warning: Please take care when drilling into the wall, avoiding any pipes and wires. Wear safety goggles when drilling. The use of residual current device (RCD) is recommended when working with tools. If in doubt consult a qualified person. 10
