Components Upon unpacking your bookcase from it s delivery box, you should have the pieces shown. Follow the steps on the next pages to assemble your new bookcase.

Step 1 Attach cam screws (D) into the pre-drilled holes on left side panel (1) as shown. Use a screwdriver to turn screws (D) clockwise to tighten. D x 5 Step 2 Attach cam screws (D) into the pre-drilled holes on right side panel (2) as shown. Use a screwdriver to turn screws (D) clockwise to tighten. D x 5
Step 3 Attach steel dowels (A) into top panel (3) by screwing dowels (A) into the inset fittings that are located on part (3) as shown. Use a pozi screwdriver to turn dowels (A) clockwise to tighten. Ensure the direction of the holes on dowels (A) are facing correctly as per diagram. A x 4 Step 4 C x 4 Attach steel dowels (C) into bottom panel (4) by screwing dowel (C) into the inset fittings that are located on part (4) as shown. Use a pozi screwdriver to turn dowels (C) clockwise to fix. Ensure the direction of the holes on dowels (C) are facing correctly as per diagram.
Step 5 Insert dowels (F) into the pre-drilled holes on fixed shelf (5) as shown. F x 4 5 Step 6 Insert dowels (F) into the pre-drilled holes on rails (7), (8), (9) as shown. Fx10
Step 7 E x 5 7.1 Attach rails (7), (8), (9) and fixed shelf (5) onto left side panel (1) as shown. Ensure cam screws (D) and dowels (F) are aligned correctly with the holes of mating parts before attaching. 7.2 Secure rails (7), (8), (9), and fixed shelf (5) to side panel (1) using cam locks (E) as shown. Use a pozi screwdriver to turn cam locks (E) clockwise to tighten. Step 7.2 Step 7.2
Step 8 E x 5 8.1 Attach right side panel (2) onto rails (7), (8), (9) and fixed shelf (5) as shown. 8.2 Secure side panel (2) to rails (7), (8), (9) and shelf (5) using cam locks (E) as shown. Use a pozi screwdriver to turn cam locks (E) clockwise to tighten. Step 8.2
Step 9 B x 8 R x 2 9.1 Attach top panel (3) and bottom panel (4) onto the structure assembled in Step 8 as shown. Ensure steel dowels (A), (C) and wooden dowels (F) are aligned correctly with the holes of mating parts before attaching. 9.2 Secure top panel (3) and bottom panel(4) to side panels (1), (2) using grub screws (B) as shown. Use a screwdriver to turn grub screws (B) clockwise to tighten. 9.3 Attach trim cap (W) onto the holes on side panels (1) & (2) as shown. 9.4 Secure top panel (3) to rail (7) using hex head bolts (R) as shown. Step 10 Attach back panels (11), (12) onto back side of the unit using round head screws (N) as shown. Use a screwdriver to turn screws (N) clockwise to tighten. N0
Step 11 G x 4 11.1 Insert cross dowels (G) into the legs (10) by placing each dowel (G) into the holes on top of each leg (10). Ensure the horizontal marking on each dowels (G) is facing as shown. 11.2 Screw threaded bolts (H) into dowels (G) that are already concealed in legs (10) as shown. Continue to re-tighten until they are securely fastened. H x 4 Step 11.1 Step 11.2
Step 12 12.1 Attach leg (10) onto bottom panel (4) by inserting threaded bolt (H) through the pre-drilled hole of metal corner bracket as shown. 12.2 Insert in order the flat washer (J), lock washer (K) and hex nut (L) onto threaded bolt (H) on leg (10) and as shown. J x 4 K x 4 12.3 Tighten hex nut (L) using spanner (M) as shown. Continue to re-tighten hex nut (L) until securely fastened. Repeat above procedures with the remaining legs. L x 4 M x 1
Step 13 S x 2 13.1 Attach small steel dowels (S) into the pre-drilled holes on drawer front (13) by screwing steel dowels (S) into the inset fittings that are located onto drawer front as shown. Ensure the direction of the holes on steel dowels (S) are facing correctly as per diagram. 13.2 Insert dowels (U) into the pre-drilled holes on drawer sides (14), (15) as shown. U x 4 Step 13.1 Step 13.2 Step 14 Attach drawer sides (14) & (15) onto drawer front (13) using small grub screws (dd) as shown. Ensure small steel dowels (S) and dowels (U) are aligned correctly with the holes of mating parts before attaching. Use a screwdriver to turn screws (dd) clockwise to tighten. dd
Step 15 15.1 Slide drawer bottom (17) into the slots inside drawer sides (14) & (15) as shown. Ensure the drawer bottom (17) is placed completely in the slot of drawer front (13). 15.2 Attach support drawer (18) onto drawer front (13) as shown. Step 16 T x 4 V x 1 16.1 Place drawer back (16) onto the top of constructed drawer box. Ensure the slot under drawer back (16) is aligned correctly with drawer bottom (17) before attaching. 16.2 Secure drawer back (16) to the drawer box using round head screws (T) as shown. 16.3 Secure wood support drawer (18) to drawer back (16) using round head screw (V) and to drawer front (13) using round head screw (X) as shown. Use a screwdriver to turn screws (V), (X) clockwise to tighten. X x 1 Step 16.2 Step 16.3
Step 17 P x16 17.1 Insert wood shelf supports (P) into the pre-drilled holes inside the unit as shown. 17.2 Slide adjustable shelves (6) into unit. Step 18 Insert the assembled drawer into the unit as shown.
Tip Kit Instructions Notice: To prevent injury and property damage from unexpected tipping of furniture, we highly recommend installation of the anti-tip kit included with this project. Attaching furniture to wall with anti-tip kits. 1. Determine where the piece is to be placed and mark location on the wall for the mounting bracket screw holes. They should be place approximately 1 below the bottom of the back of the piece of furniture. 2. Drill the hole and use the appropriate wall plug that is suitable for your walls composition. Warning: before drilling check wall for hidden pipes and cables. 3. Attach the mounting bracket vertically to the wall using appropriate fastener, through the holes in the bracket and 2 wall plugs that are suitable to your wall and then tighten securely. 4. Next using the short screws attach the 2nd bracket to the back of the piece of furniture s top. 5. Lace the nylon strap through the brackets. Slide the thin end of the strap through the receiving end of the nylon strap. Pull to tighten the piece of furniture snug against wall. Wood If fixing to wood make sure that is isn t chipboard as screws can easily pull away from the core structure. Brick or Masonry Cavity Wall Use an appropriate wall plug provided when you are sure your wall is sound. Special toggle wall plugs are needed. Seek expert advice.
