Perseus as a Hero, He is willing to sacrifice his own need as a fisherman to save the people of Argos from the Kraken. The Psychological Function: Perseus has an ego to find the personal identity (who am i), and he also sparates from his parents and do the journeys alone.

The Dramatic Function: Audience Identification Window into the story (the baby has founded) See the world throug his eyes (the journey of Perseus with the Allies to the Hell, and many mysteroius places. Perseus is Unique than other man. He is part of God and part of Human Perseus has a strong body, brave, but weak in his heart (= need a mentor).
