The Personalized DNA Snapshot 1Your Second Growth begins with a conversation to understand who you are, how you arrived at this point in your life, and where you want to go. We analyze your personal needs, financial profile, and legacy plans to create a personal snapshot of your current situation.

Addressing The Gap 2After creating a personalized snapshot we will begin work developing a plan for your Second Growth. As part of our research we will conduct a gap analysis to determine whether there are any shortfalls that need to be addressed.

The Second Growth Blueprint 3 Once our analysis is complete we will review your Second Growth Blueprint. Investment philosophy, legacy plans, risk control, cash flow strategies, and liability management demand a specialized approach during the Second Growth. Our strategy is designed to address these needs specifically for you and your family.

Mark is experienced in wealth management, retirement and estate planning and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. His practice focuses on asset management and financial planning for high net worth individuals, families, and institutions. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mark was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch for eight years and was a member of the President s and Chairman s Club, as well as the Presidents and Executives Club. Before working at Merrill Lynch, Mark worked as the acting president of an import/export company in Japan where his responsibilities included managing exchange rate ramifications. Mark spent almost three years in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese. Mark received his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Economics. He is an avid skier, enjoys basketball and motocross, and has a passion for American history. Mark is married and has three boys.

Lamm is a Senior Vice President and a Financial Advisor with The Cypress Group at Morgan Stanley. Shad excels in Wealth Management and Financial Planning and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Shad is currently a member of the elite Master s club at Morgan Stanley. Shad received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management and Finance with a minor in Russian Linguistics. He was president of the Finance Society at his alma mater. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Shad held a position at Merrill Lynch as a Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor for 8 years. At Merrill Lynch he was a member of the Chairman s and Executive Club. Growing up in Colorado, Shad enjoys skiing, snowmobiling and motocross. Shad is married and has three children. His practice focuses on asset management and financial planning for high net worth individuals, families, and institutions. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chris guides his clients in organizing and prioritizing their financial and estate planning needs and develops strategies for the accomplishment of their most important objectives. Chris focuses on investment strategies and asset allocation decisions for the team s discretionary management portfolios. Chris attended Brigham Young University on a wrestling scholarship and graduated with a degree in finance. He began his career with Merrill Lynch after graduation and later joined Morgan Stanley with the other members of The Cypress Group. Chris and his wife stay busy raising their six children. In between soccer, baseball, and other parental activities Chris enjoys running, racquetball, and Crossfit. S. Ross focuses on wealth preservation, income accumulation, planning and distribution. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ross was a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch where he focused on client development and investment implementation. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Ross worked in the field of venture capital where he worked directly with invested firms to assist them in allocating their funds to achieve maximum growth from their assets. Ross received his Bachelors degree in Business Finance from Brigham Young University. He has a background in South American studies and speaks fluent Portuguese. Ross enjoys music, the outdoors, basketball, Crossfit and is an avid Lakers fan. Ross is married and has three children.

Drawing on his experience at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, he helps his clients simplify the complexities that come with financial planning and asset management so his clients can attain true comfort and confidence in their financial position, have more time for what is most important to themselves and their families. Prior to joining The Cypress Group, David and his wife worked and lived in New York City for ten years. After their first child and an invite to join The Cypress Group they moved to California where they now live with their three children. David is known for his affability and drive for excellence in serving his clients. Clark focuses on capital preservation and income accumulation. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Clark was a Financial Advisor with The Cypress Group at Merrill Lynch. Before his career with Merrill Lynch, Clark worked as an intern on the energy and defense committees with the U.S. Sentate in Washington D.C. and with the president pro tempore. Clark received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Southern Oregon University. While at Southern Oregon University, Clark founded the Golf Club. Born in Alaska, Clark enjoys skiing, golf and dog training. Lisa brings seven years experience to the team. Starting as a Wealth Management Analyst, Lisa assisted in portfolio reviews and client relationships. Shortly after, she pursued a career as a Financial Advisor for five years and eventually transitioned to Relationship Manager to once again help in the portfolio review and financial planning process. While creating financial plans, extensive portfolio and life goal analysis, Lisa also maintains client relationships. Lisa s goal is to ensure clients are receiving the best review and financial plan possible while enhancing their client-advisor relationship with the team. Lisa received her Bachelor s degree in Business Management from Cal State San Bernardino. She enjoys being outdoors, running, Crossfit and spending time with her husband and two children.

Within the financial industry, she worked in Private Wealth Management for Morgan Stanley in the Century City, Los Angeles office and in Private Equity/Capital Markets and Investor Relations with Ares Management LLC for five years. Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Political Science from Brigham Young University. She enjoys reading, cooking, biking and traveling with her husband. Laurie has one son living in New York City, who is studying with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and one son at Palm Springs High School, who plays football, basketball and baseball. She joined The Cypress Group in 2007 and has over ten years experience in the financial industry, working at UBS and Merrill Lynch before joining Morgan Stanley. Lettie is very knowledgeable about all aspects of client service and assists clients with general account inquiries, research, problem solving and other administrative issues. Lettie enjoys swimming, hiking and spending time with her two daughters.
