How to Use this Booklet This booklet lists the name, date, time, and skill level of classes currently scheduled through the end of 2018. Full descriptions, along with homework and supply lists, can be seen online at northfieldyarn.com/classes or can be printed by request at the shop. Examples of the items being made in classes can be seen on the website or at the shop. Generally, classes fall into one of the following categories and are marked in the list with the abbreviations I, S, and P. Introductory Classes (I) Unless otherwise noted, Introductory Classes require no previous experience and include all tools and supplies. Skill-Building Classes (S) Skill-Building classes focus on teaching a skill and do not necessarily result in a finished product. Ask for a supply list when you register. Some skill-building classes require homework before the first class. Project Classes (P) Project classes focus on the creation of a specific item, with relevant skills taught along the way. Ask for a supply list when you register. Project classes require some previous experience. Some project classes require homework before the first class. Don t See What Your Were Hoping For? If you would like a private lesson about something not included here, just contact the shop and we will be happy to set one up for you. Private lessons cost $25/hour for an individual (rates are adjusted for larger groups). We also welcome suggestions for classes to include in future guides. 1

Registration You can register for classes at the shop, over the phone (507-645-1330), or at northfieldyarn.com/classes. Seating is limited and we will not be able to accept registrations once a class has filled. Let us know in the shop if you would like to be added to a waitlist. Supplies Class Info & Policies When supplies are not included with a class, you can pick up a supply list when you register or find it on our website. We offer a 10% discount on class supplies purchased at Northfield Yarn (excluding patterns). If you plan to purchase supplies on the day of class, please arrive early so you have time to make your selections before class begins. Changes & Cancellations Sometimes things come up that require changes to the schedule after this guide has been published. We strive to keep online information as up-to-date as possible, but the most reliable way to get current information is to call the shop. If we have to cancel a class we will let you know as soon as possible and refund any payment in full in its original form. If you cannot attend a class, you can get a full refund if you give us 7 days notice or if we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list. Keep An Eye Out for Pop-Up Classes! This booklet lists classes and events scheduled through the end of 2018, but additional classes and events are likely to be added along the way. To be sure you hear about them, sign up for our e-mail newsletter, keep an eye on our website or Facebook page, or check the bulletin board at the shop. 2
