Press the MENU button located inside the coin door, on the right side. Custom Borders Update Software. In order to upload custom borders, update your photo booth software to the latest version. Go to www.teamplayinc.com. Click Sign In to Download Borders & Updates, and enter your name, company name, email address and phone number. Team Play will not sell your information to third parties! We will email you when new software updates and borders become available for download, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Zip and Save to a USB Flash Drive. Custom borders are uploaded to the photo booth from your USB flash drive. Border.png files should be saved in a zip file, with the following structure: Borders.zip Folder border1.png border2.png border3.png SmithWeddingBorder.png JonesAnniversaryBorder.png JohnsonBirthdayBorder.png NOTE: The individual border file names will not be visible to your customers, but the folder name will appear on-screen. Border Size. Fun Stop Photos Gen II utilizes edge-to-edge printing. As a result, some of the custom border will be cut off because of variations in alignment of the paper cutter. The image size must be 640x494, but only the center 600x450 is guaranteed to be printed. NOTE: Custom borders are the same 640x494 size for 2 x 6 photo strips and 4 x 6 photo prints. The photo booth software automatically sizes the border to fit. Page 4 of 8
Borders Selection Your Fun Stop Photos Gen II photo booth comes pre-loaded with approximately 100 different borders! Register your email address at www.teamplayinc.com to be notified of additional free border downloads and software updates as they become available. You can display up to ten (10) categories of borders at a time (such as Sports, Festive, Anniversary, etc.) Borders are selectively enabled via the Service Menu, as follows: Choose the Borders option by touching Borders on the screen. Borders are controlled by Selecting or Deselecting the borders. Unwanted borders are not actually deleted, just deactivated, so you can change the mix of border options as often as you wish. If enabled, the time-released borders setting allows holiday borders to automatically appear before the holiday date, and to disappear after the holiday date. If you do not want time-released borders, uncheck the box next to the option that says, Enable Time Based Borders. Select the borders you want to enable by checking the box next to each of them. Select the borders to disable by unchecking their boxes. Page 5 of 8
For faster selection: If you want to keep only a few borders enabled, first choose Turn All Borders Off. Then selectively enable the borders that you want, one at a time, by checking the box next to each of them. For faster selection: If you want to enable most of the borders, first choose Turn All Borders On. Then, select the individual borders that you want to disable by unchecking the box next to each of them. NOTE: Choose no more than 10 categories of borders at a time. If you enable more than 10 border categories, the border selection buttons will become too small for your customers to read, because there are so many borders pre-loaded onto your photo booth. When you are done enabling and disabling borders, exit the Service Menu. Event Logos and Screen Advertisements Artwork files for Scheduled Events are loaded and selected using the Custom Artwork option while scheduling or editing an event. (For event scheduling info, download the Event Scheduling Guide at www.teamplayinc.com Tech Support Gen II.) Page 6 of 8
Event Screen Advertisements For on-screen ads during an event, first LOAD your custom advertisement.png file. Then, ENABLE the on-screen advertisement. If your photo booth displays on-screen advertisements during normal operations, you can disable the advertisements for the duration of the event by choosing the Disable Advertisement option in the Events (green background) menu. 4 th Frame Event Logos For custom photo strip logos, first LOAD your.png file. Then, SELECT the logo artwork that you want printed onto the photos during the event. If you want no artwork, press Select, without having loaded any logo for the event. (On-screen instructions will remind you of this option.) Event Borders To load a CUSTOM border.png file created for this event, choose Borders under the Custom Artwork category. Page 7 of 8
The 100 PRE-LOADED borders that came with your photo booth are enabled via the Borders option, which is above Custom Artwork. NOTE: Choose no more than 10 categories of borders at a time. If you enable more than 10 border categories, the border selection buttons will become too small for your customers to read, because there are so many borders. When you have finished uploading and selecting the custom artwork for your event, choose Done. When you are done uploading and selecting your custom artwork, Exit the Service Menu. Page 8 of 8
