1 INSTALL ANGLE ANCHORS Gather the parts: #105232 Angle Anchors View the diagrams to measure and determine the location of the two (2) angle anchors for the two door jambs. 3. Mark the center of the shelter's end rafter by measuring the distance between the two ground posts and dividing in half. Measure 13-7/16" in both directions from the center mark and push the two (2) angle anchors into the ground leaving at least 3" exposed. Anchors must be straight and evenly spaced. Refer to the diagram below. NOTE: Place the anchors so the door jamb sits directly in line with the ground posts. Continue with the information on the following page to assemble and install the door jambs and header. Drawing may show a different but similar model. Consult the diagrams to assemble and attach the two (2) door jambs and header. Gather the two (2) door jambs and the two (2) 105107 fabric clips. Attach the fabric clips to the angled ends of the jambs using a FAS8 square head screw. Center the clip on the end brace as shown below. Set assembled door jambs into position by seating the plain end against the angled anchors and clipping the top of the door jambs with the fabric clips onto the rafter. Verify the jambs are straight and evenly spaced. 3. Once in position, secure clips by installing a Tek screw through the clip and into the rafter from the inside of the shelter. Drill a hole through the fabric clip if needed. 4. 5. Secure lower ends of the door jambs by installing two square head construction screws through each angle anchor and into the door jamb from the outside of the shelter. If needed, pre-drill the holes through the anchor stake for each FAS8 screw. Measure the door panels and allow for clearances. Using the measurements from the door panels, set door header into position and install using 90 connectors and Phillips head screws. Attach each fabric clip to the end of a frame brace using a FAS8 square head screw. Center the clip on the brace end as shown below. Set assembled frame braces into position by seating the plain end against the door jambs and clipping the fabric clip to the ground post. Verify the braces are straight and level. (Push fabric clips into the ground if needed.) 3. Once in position, secure fabric clips by installing a Tek screw through the clip and into the ground post from the inside of the shelter. Drill a hole through the fabric clip if needed. 4. Secure the brace to the door jamb from the inside of the shelter by attaching a 90 connector using FAF25P Phillips head screws. 4 INSTALL Gather the parts: End panel film FILM END PANELS Poly latch U-channel (#102197) Spring for U-channel (#102198) Tek screws (#FA4482) Poly Latch U-channel and Spring Installed View the diagrams to install the poly latch U-channel and attach the end panel film. Using Tek screws, attach sections of the poly latch U-channel along the outside of the frame base and to the door header as shown in the diagrams. NOTE: If main cover is installed, uninstall the main cover from the U-channel on the end rafter. Reinstall main cover after end film has been installed. End panel installed. View as seen from outside the building. Drawing may show a different but similar model. 3. 4. Unfold and position the end film over the end rafter. Drape some of the material over the top rafter leaving enough to reach the ground plus 6" - 12". Center the film so equal excess material is on each side of the shelter. Tape can be used to temporarily hold material in place if needed. Once end film is in position, attach the film to the rafter. Starting at the top of the end rafter and working your way down each side, wiggle the wire spring back and forth to seat the spring into the previously installed U-channel, holding the film in place. Be sure to pull the film tight while working down the end rafter. Install the spring into the U-channel attached to the door header and along the frame base. Pull the film snug while installing the spring. CAUTION: Risk of Injury Always wear eye protection when installing the 102198 spring! 4 INSTALL FILM END PANELS (continued) Inside View 5. Working from inside the frame, mark a 12"-16" border along the door jambs. (Consult the diagram below.) These 12"-16" flaps are wrapped to the inside of the door frame once the final diagonal cuts are made. 6. 7. Using the diagram below as a guide, cut the end panel to remove the section that is shaded. Fold flaps to the inside of the door frame and secure to the jambs by attaching the 102197 U-channel over the film using Tek screws. See diagrams on this page and the following page. ATTENTION: Do not wrap the film around the door jambs. Consult the diagram to the right. Drawings may show a different but similar model. Remove the dark shaded portion of the end panel material to create an opening for the door. Header Cut film along header as needed. END PANEL END PANEL 12"-16" 12"-16" Wrap this portion of the end panel to the inside of the door frame and secure with U-Channel and Tek screws. See diagram top right and next page.
