The Intelligent Solution for Wireless Coverage and Capacity

All-Digital t-series - Going Beyond DAS With the increasing popularity of mobile devices, users expect to have seamless data services anywhere, at anytime. The advanced all-digital t-series is purpose-built to address today s challenges of managing wireless data traffic, both indoors and outdoors. As a software configurable solution, t-series helps mobile operators minimize the Total Cost of Ownership of their network infrastructures. t-series delivers the high capacity of a macro cell, the flexible coverage of distributed antenna systems (DAS) with the footprint of a pico cell, and without traditional interference challenges. It supports all global frequency bands, and is technology and vendor agnostic, making it a future-proof solution with applications across virtually all environments such as stadiums, arenas, campuses, airports, and tunnels, as well as public safety scenarios. This gives unmatched flexibility and scalability to mobile operators, system integrators, and enterprises. Features and Benefits The Dali Wireless t-series is an all-digital platform that s scalable in both capacity and coverage simultaneously and independently. The key features of this solution include: Simple two-tier architecture Integrated indoor and outdoor platform Local and remote monitoring and control via software, and through SNMP Up to 164 MHz of aggregated RF bandwidth per wavelength Single optical fiber with digital throughput of up to 6 Gbps Transport support over single mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) optical fiber, and CAT6/7 twisted pair cable Technology and base station vendor agnostic (2G, 3G, 4G) Support for global frequency bands Suitable for multi-operator environments Accommodates 1 Gbps Ethernet backhaul RF NMS IP WiFi AP 2

Technical Differentiators of t-series No Signal Degradation over Long Distance The ability to carry optical signals over a long distance, as far as 40 km (up to 30 dbo optical link budget) is the result of Dali t-series digital signal processing feature. It enables new deployment scenarios such as centralized headend architecture, and indoor and underground applications, such as tunnels, metro systems and mines, without adding additional boosters and/or headend units. Flexible Deployment Topologies The flexibility provided by t-series is key to achieving its low Total Cost of Ownership. The all-digital architecture enables multiple network topologies including star, daisy chain and hybrid, to cater to different deployment scenarios. These network topologies reduce fiber plant usage and installation costs, and provide effective redundancy configurations. In addition, with the ability to cascade host units, tseries can support centralized headend architecture and can easily enable new RF sources from different locations to be incrementally added to the existing distribution network without introducing passive intermodulation (PIM). Accommodates 1 Gbps Ethernet Backhaul The Ethernet channel on each fiber connection can be used to carry IP traffic from WiFi Access Points (AP) or other IP devices such as security cameras, electronic messaging boards, digital announcements systems, small cells and others. Automatic Optical Delay Compensation The optical delay compensation across all fibers is calculated with the click of a button on the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Delay is measured in real-time, saving site engineers time as no additional hardware is required to fine-tune delay. LTE MIMO The delay adjustment of each MIMO path has a setting of less than 35 nanseconds (ns) meeting the 3GPP MIMO signal requirements for delay in-balance of maximum 65 ns. 3

Technical Differentiators of t-series Optimized for Resource Sharing Supports C-RAN Architecture With the centralized headend, additional base station resources that are at a different location can be brought back to the centralized headend digitally, over fiber, for re-distributing. This significantly improves the efficiency and utilization of the deployed radio resources. Digital Aggregation of Multi-Operators Signals Host units can be cascaded and multiple operator signals digitally processed and combined. This enables new operators to be incrementally added to the common distribution network digitally, with no loss of signal quality. With signals aggregated without the use of splitters or combiners, no PIM (passive intermodulation) is introduced. 4

thost - Headend thost is a digital and software configurable unit that forms the headend of the t-series network. On the downlink (DL) path, thost receives RF signals from base stations (BTS) or off-the-air bi-directional amplifiers (BDA) with donor antennas. The RF signals are converted to digital data packets and distributed to the remote units via fiber optic links at a data rate of 6 Gbps. IP data from third party appliances can be aggregated into the digital data stream and distributed to the remote units. thost headend unit On the uplink (UL) path, thost performs the reverse functions and delivers RF signals back to the corresponding BTS or BDA, and IP data to attached IP appliances. The thost connects with the low and high power radio units in a plug-and-play manner. When a radio unit is added to the network, it is automatically identified and configuration is performed at the user interface. To serve additional mobile operators, thost units can be cascaded, their signals digitally processed and combined, and aggregated content sent over optical fiber to the radio units. thost - Back View Monitoring and control can be performed locally or remotely via the internal web browser based Element Management System (EMS) or through a Network Management System (NMS) using SNMP. thost - Side View 5

t30 - Low Power Remote Unit t30 is a low power indoor radio unit with DL output power of 1W per band. It can process 4 RF frequency bands simultaneously over a single optical fiber at a data rate of 6 Gbps. The t30 has an optical link budget of 15 dbo to 30 dbo and can accomodate a 1 Gbps or higher Ethernet backhaul. On the DL path, the t30 receives the digital data stream from the thost and converts the signal back into RF for transmission over the antenna. On the UL path, the t30 converts the RF signal into digital data packets and transports the signal over a single optical fiber. The t30 can aggregate instantaneous bandwidth of up to 164 MHz uplink and up to 164 MHz downlink, per fiber. t30 Quad-Band Remote The t30 can be connected to the thost in a star, daisy chain, or hybrid star/daisy chain configuration. Dali s ability to support multiple topologies enables greater design flexibility and reduces fiber requirements and installation costs. During installation, t30s can be mounted side by side. Therefore, an eight-band installation can be achieved with two quad-band t30 remote units. t43 - High Power Remote Unit t43 is a high power radio unit with DL output power of 20W per band. It can process 2 RF frequency bands simultaneously over a single optical fiber at a data rate of 6 Gbps. The t43 has an optical link budget of 15 dbo to 30 dbo and can accomodate a 1 Gbps or higher Ethernet backhaul. On the DL path, the t43 receives the digital data stream from the thost and converts the signal back into RF for transmission over the antenna. On the UL path, the t43 converts the RF signal into digital data packets and transports the signal over a single optical fiber. The t43 can aggregate instantaneous bandwidth of up to 164 MHz uplink and up to 164 MHz downlink, per fiber. The t43 can be connected to the thost in a star, daisy chain, or hybrid star/daisy chain configuration. Dali s ability to support multiple topologies enables greater design flexibility and reduces fiber requirements and installation costs. During installation, t43s can be mounted side by side. Therefore, a four-band installation can be achieved with two dual-band t43 remote units. t43 Dual-Band Remote 6
