Since 1959, AIT has carried out its mission to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who play leading roles in the region s sustainable development and in its integration with the global economy through higher learning, research, capacity building, and outreach. AIT has led the advancement of science and technology in the region. The Institute maintains close relationships with partners in both public and private sectors, specifically industries and top universities.

Our Centers ACECOMS The Asian Center for Engineering Computations and Software (ACECOMS) was established in 1995 as one of the first centers of excellence at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The center aims to boost the research in engineering computations, the development of quality computer software tools for engineering applications, and training for their effective use. ACECOMS and AIT Solutions work together to extend services in customized software solutions specific to the technical and engineering applications and deliver expert training programs as well as support for selected international software. HAbitECH CEntEr Habitech Center was established in 1988 initially as a research and development center for building components and technology at the School of Engineering and Technology, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Habitech Center has been instrumental in enabling sustainable and affordable housing and social infrastructure buildings for communities in Thailand and throughout Asia. This has enabled AIT to accomplish its mission of contributing significantly in the development of the region. AIT Solutions and Habitech Center jointly work on projects related to sustainable, cost-effective, and appropriate infrastructure technologies and techniques through the extensive experience and capabilities of AIT experts, and the labs and centers.
