Solutions for the AUTOMOTIVE market Coated abrasive manufacturer since 1928

TAMEX GW520 PONÇAGE À L EAU OU EN SEMI- HUMIDE Wet or damp sanding POLYMEX - SR 590 GW 520 TAMEX : Important cutting power (wet or damp) SR590 POLYMEX : the most efficient damp sanding process USE : Wet sanding solution providing a very high cutting power. The use of TAMEX with the new types of pads limits the water constraints (reduced consumption of water, insignificant water projection ). Advised for sanding of sealer in grit P800 and P1000, for all paint scouring works and particularly efficient for wide area sanding. The mesh disc adheres to the pad by capillary attraction. Long-lasting product. Openwork structure which decreases the clogging of the product. Time saving. Optimal use of the 2 abrasive sides. The water use allows the evacuation of the sanding mud. TECHNICAL DATA : Screen cloth, aluminium oxide, resin. The new pad generations, designed for TAMEX, permit a semi-wet sanding. Indeed, with a simple humidification of the worked area and of the sponge pad, the TAMEX will offer all its efficiency. TAMEX sanding requires the use of specific machines which PRIMEX is keen on recommending. USE : An efficient solution for the damp sanding for primed body part (grits P600 and P800). For machine (Ø76mm) or a hand working (cut sheets + sanding block). A simple humidification of the abrasive or of the sanded area is enough. Lifetime much higher than any other wet sanding product on the market. Optimal finishing. No dust. A minimal humidification, which limits the constraints coming from the use of water. TECHNICAL DATA : Polyester support, aluminium oxide, resin. LW 620 FLEXIBACK Si : The most popular PW620 PRIMEX : The most economical USE : Economical solution for sanding of sealer from grit P600 to P1200. Other uses: Scouring of old paints (grits P120 to P150), Roughening of the surface before priming (grits P240 to P400), Touching up on varnishes (grit P1500). TECHNICAL DATA : Waterproof oiled paper, silicon carbide, resin. USE : The most popular solution for the sanding of sealers from grit P600 to P1200. Other uses: Scouring of old paints (grit P180), Roughening of the surface before priming (grits P240 to P400), Touching up on varnishes (grit P1500). Easy and fast to use (wet and sand!). High flexibility. A homogeneous sanding (very good finishing). A high cutting power (silicon carbide grit). TECHNICAL DATA : Waterproof latex paper, silicon carbide, resin. Also available in Aluminium oxide, and particularly velour back cut sheets 72x123mm, Grits P240, P400, P600 and P800. page 2

Dry sanding GW 520 TAMEX : DRY SCUFFING The e-coating preparing solution LR 880 PRIMIUM : The high performance solution USE : To prepare the part before priming (body parts without sealer). Dry hand use: TAMEX P400 to P600, either on the rubber hand pad (velcro system) or with a PROCHIM tack rag (the PROCHIM provides the clamping and also removes the dust). Dry TAMEX scuffing allows a total removal of the defects, even the ones that can hardly be seen but which will be accentuated by the various following coatings. TAMEX brings time saving and a enhanced finishing. Working on both sides with PROCHIM tack rag. TECHNICAL DATA : Screen cloth backing (with velour back for the rubber hand pad use), aluminium oxide, resin. USE : High performance solution for the mastic softening (P240 to P320), dry sanding of sealers (P320 to P500), matt finishing before coating lacquers. Other uses: Finishing on sheet metal from grits P150 to P180. High lifetime because of the anti-clogging property. Optimal finishing. Very resistant. Quick material removal TECHNICAL DATA : Latex paper, treated aluminium oxide, resin, anti-clogging treatment. To be used with a rubber hand pad or directly with a PROCHIM tack rag. Main sizes used Discs Ø150mm P240 to P500 Cut sheets 72x123mm P80 to P500 LR590 AUTOCLEAN : The polyvalent solution USE : Polyvalent abrasive adapted to many needs for coating tasks.
