Hytera Radio Battery Life and Safety Instruction Hytera radio batteries mainly adopt lithium-ion or nickel metal hydride battery. Lithium battery has no memory effect, and can charge at any time without any limitation; Nickel metal hydride battery needs to charge and discharge completely in the first three times because of its feature and avoid being charged exceeding the standard current. If the battery power-on time shortens obviously after charging normally, that means the battery capacity has fallen or life comes to end, you need to replace it. Battery life and safety instruction: All Hytera original binding battery needs to pass strict quality test and safety protection assurance. In normal situation, battery life for charging and discharging is usually 300-500 circles (charging and discharging for one time is a circle, circle time: there is difference in different battery types), the life time can t exceed 3 years. The cable core capacity falls with the extension of using period because of battery feature. The internal electrolyte will be consumed overly if you continue to use overly after it exceeds circle life, it will lead the cable core starts a series chemical reaction and produce gas continuously, the increasing gas will result directly increasing internal pressure of cable core and make the battery safety performance become weak, even burn or explode. Please stop using and replace battery on time if it exceeds the using date or standby time is no more than 25% standard. Please use the battery charger Hytera appoints. It may explode or burn, even does injury to human body if you don t use Hytera battery or charger to charge. Notice items: 1. Please don t short battery terminal out or throw it away into fire and mustn t dismantle the cover of battery group yourself. 2. The environment temperature should be 5-40 when charging.
