BAHAGIAN A : SOALAN BETUL ATAU SALAH (10 markah) SECTION A : TRUE OR FALSE QUESTIONS (10 marks) ARAHAN : Jawab SEMUA soalan. INSTRUCTION : Answer ALL questions. 1. Semikonduktor merupakan bahan yang menyokong pengaliran arus yang sangat banyak pada masa yang sama ia berlagak seperti konduktor. Semiconductor is a material that support a generous flow of charge act as conductor in the same time. 2. Proses menambahkan bendasing ke dalam suatu bahan semikonduktor asli dengan tujuan mengubah ciri-ciri elektrikal bahan tersebut dipanggil pengedopan. The process of adding impurities into a pure semiconductor for the purpose of modulation its electrical properties is known as doping. 3. Terdapat tiga jenis pincangan yang lazim pada diod semikonduktor iaitu kehadapan, kebelakang dan tanpa pincangan. There are three common types of bias in semiconductor diode which are forward, reverse and no bias. 4. Titik Q (quiescent) adalah penting bagi mendapatkan keadaan litar berfungsi pada keadaan tepu. Q point (quiescent) is important to have the circuit operated in saturated region. 5. Penukaran voltan a.u kepada voltan a.t boleh dilakukan dengan mengaplikasi fungsi diod. The conversion of voltage ac to a fixed dc level can be achieved by applying the diode function. Page 3 of 14

6. Bipolar transistor mempunyai 4 simpang iaitu NPNP. A bipolar transistor has four junctions which are NPNP. 7. BJT ialah peranti kawalan arus. A BJT is a current-controlled device. 8. JFET lazimnya adalah lebih stabil berbanding BJT. Commonly, a JFET is more stable than BJT. 9. MOSFET adalah `Molecule Occurence Superconductor Field Effect Transistor` merupakan satu satu jenis FET. MOSFET is `Molecule Occurence Superconductor Field Effect Transistor` is one of the FET type. 10. Isyarat masukan penguat mempunyai masukan sama dikenali sebagai `common-mode`.
