SBS SITE BASE STATION With an outstanding 75 watts of RF output power, the SBS delivers the best coverage performance available in TETRA. MBS MOUNTED BASE STATION Easily installed on walls or towers, the IP66 MBS is a complete one-carrier TETRA base station, requiring no ground-based equipment. Designed to improve coverage in shadow zones, it offers low power consumption and can operate in stand-alone mode or as part of a network. It can also be linked to another MBS to create a two-carrier base station. 8
PBS PORTABLE BASE STATION Designed to be quickly deployable, the PBS a trolleymounted MBS variant can be connected to the NEBULA TETRA Control Node to create a new coverage area, or operate in stand-alone mode as a one-carrier-system, capable of managing radio communications within its coverage area. DBS DEPLOYABLE BASE STATION Compact and transportable, the IP66 DBS is a rapidly deployable two-carrier TETRA base station, ideal for creating a new coverage area, boosting network traffic or replacing collapsed infrastructure in emergency situations. Intuitive and easy-to-use applications allow the modification of user profiles, system configuration or the checking of network status from a userfriendly Graphical User Interface. NMS NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The NMS provides an intuitive but powerful tool to configure, monitor and check the performance of all TETRA, LTE or hybrid TETRA-LTE network components. Built upon a client-server architecture to the FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security) industry standard, the NMS allows separate technical and operational management allowing multiple user groups to share the network, whilst isolating each group s configurable access privileges. Within geographically dispersed networks, the NMS permits the creation of local maintenance workstations, while maintaining centralised supervision and control. 15

DMR TIER II CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE In use in over 100 countries, DMR is the world s most widelyadopted two-way digital radio technology. The DMR standard operates within the existing 12.5 khz channel spacing frequently used within the PMR market, but achieves two voice channels through two-slot TDMA technology. Available in both UHF and VHF frequency bands, our DMR range guarantees high-performance communication on a worldwide open standard. SBS SITE BASE STATION The Tier III base station consists of SRB8000 repeaters (VHF or UHF) equipped with enhanced Tier III functionality and a site controller to provide a full trunked solution and a simple upgrade path for organisations already using a Tier II system. Sepura Tier III base stations can be scaled to meet all requirements from small, low-capacity single channel sites (two timeslots) to high-capacity requirements on multiple sites, with up to 16 channels (32 timeslots) per site. 24
SYSCON NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSCON is a dedicated application used to configure the Tier III controllers and regional control servers. Only one copy of the application is required, and the system will continue to function even if SYSCON is removed. Configuration is carried out from any point on the network via a browser interface; there is no additional software to install on client PCs. 25

VOICE RECORDING MISSION CRITICAL LOGGING Our voice recording systems support the recording of DMR Tier III trunked radio traffic, offering outstanding flexibility and ease of use, with a choice of advanced capability remote software or convenient touch-screen front panel operation. Call records are stored in a state-of-the-art SQL relational database. The logging systems feature an embedded Linux operating system for maximum reliability and compatibility with your existing infrastructure. The loggers include an internal RAID array of hard disk drives for reliability and redundancy.
