Certified Realtor [CONTACT INFO] The length of time these letters will be sent over depends on your average sales cycle. If the average buyer in your area buys a new house every 7 years, we will send them 2 letters a year for 7 years. Send handwritten letters to prospects offering your service. Here are 4 great campaigns. Prospecting Idea #1: NEW MOVE IN When a new person moves into your area, send them a handwritten letter welcoming them to the neighborhood. Inform them that if they ever wish to sell, you d be happy to help. COPY: "Hey, I just recently sold a house down the street from you (4432 Beard Lane). Your neighborhood is in very high demand. If you're ever looking at selling, I d love to help! Certified Realtor P.S. Prospecting Idea #3: FSBO HOME LISTING When someone lists their home on the market FSBO, send them a handwritten letter to say how you d love to come by for a free consultation and tell them helpful tips you ve learned about selling in the neighborhood. COPY: Hey, Just saw that you put your house on the market. I d love to swing by and give you some tips on how I ve sold houses in this neighborhood before. Prospecting Idea #4: STALE FSBO HOME LISTING When a FSBO home has been on the market for x amount of time, send a handwritten note saying you ve noticed and would love to offer a free consultation to speed up the sale. COPY: Hey, I saw your house has been on the market for X amount of time. I ve been selling houses in [CITY] for years and would love to stop by for a free consultation and tell you what you could be doing differently.
3. BROKERAGE AUTOMATION As a broker, whenever a lead is assigned to an agent, automatically send a handwritten letter to that lead in the agents name. Let s say I assign a lead to Jonathan Hendrix. The moment that happens, a predefined handwritten letter from Jonathan Hendrix, customized with their name and information, will go out to the lead. COPY: Hello, My name is [AGENT NAME] and I wanted to reach out and say I am excited to serve as your Austin agent. I look forward to getting to know you and your housing goals. 4. APARTMENT LEAD GEN Send handwritten prospecting letters to apartment tenants Apartment Lead Gen #1: Mass Delivery COPY: Hey, If you ever decide to go apartment shopping in [CITY/NEIGHBORHOOD], I d LOVE to help. I ve been a realtor here for 3 years and specialize in helping my clients find the best apartment deals QUICKLY. I can be reached at 555 555 5555 2. Apartment Referral Letter When you move someone into an apartment, send a handwritten letter to his/her neighbors. ( Make sure you get approval from your current client to share name and apartment information. )
COPY: Hey, I just moved in [NAME OF CLIENT] to apartment 103. Just checking in to say when you decide to move apartments, I d love to help speed up the process and get you a great deal. Need more information? Just ask [NAME OF CLIENT] about my services. I got him this place on a 2 weeks notice for ¾ of the asking price. I ll be in touch! 5. ASKING FOR REFERRALS Send a handwritten letter to a client asking for referrals when the sale is completed. We recommend sending 2 letters, one early in their move in and one 2 3 months down the road. This way they have time to settle in and won t be too busy to refer you. 6. REFERRING OTHERS Send handwritten letters to contractors telling them you are referring clients their way. COPY Hey, I just want to let you know I referred [CLIENT NAME] to you. They were looking for a flooring guy so I sent them to the best in Austin! I would love it if you made them feel extra special. Thank you very much.
