STATE-ADOPTED PROGRAMS WITH ANTICIPATED FUNDING FOR 2015 16 SCHOOL YEAR The State Legislature is currently working on the FY 2015-16 budget which will determine the funding level for instructional materials. Even though the budget is not finalized, the State Instructional Materials Office plans to conduct two Pre-Orders for state-funded instructional materials. The first Pre-Order will begin on April 16, 2015, for schools to order English Language Arts (ELA) 9-12 materials for the upcoming school year. Districts reported their selections for ELA 9-12 in April of last year. Please remind schools to provide PowerSchool student enrollment with their orders. The second Pre-Order begins on May 12, 2015 and will include the adoption areas that are anticipated to be funded. Districts should begin the process of conducting local selections for the second Pre-Order areas outlined below. District selections must be received by the State Instructional Materials Office before schools can begin placing orders.
