Meet the Professionals Lane H. Katz Senior Vice President Wealth Management Financial Planning Specialist Senior Investment Management Consultant Lane holds the nationally recognized, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation. He has been advising wealthy individual and institutional clients at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney or its predecessor firms since 1978. As part of his wealth management practice, Lane acts as a discretionary Portfolio Manager under Morgan Stanley Smith Barney s Portfolio Management program utilizing a disciplined, value-oriented investment style. Lane holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He is also a trustee of several prominent charitable organizations in New York City, including the Children s Aid Society and the Milbank Housing Development Corporation. Charles T. Goldberg Vice President Wealth Management Investment Management Consultant Financial Planning Specialist Charles has extensive experience advising clients in virtually all aspects of wealth management. He holds the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR sm designation. Prior to joining a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 1996, he worked at KLS Professional Advisors Group as a Director/Financial Advisor from 1993-1996. He graduated from Queens College with honors and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. Robin Kain has been a Registered Associate at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessor firms since 1991 and has over 25 years of industry experience including three years as an operations manager. She is responsible for opening new accounts and client service requests. Benjamin De Angelis joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2009 as a Client Service Associate. Once the wealth management plan is agreed upon and implemented, we monitor its results to determine if it is accomplishing the goals that were established.
