Marlene A. Casini is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP). She joined the Foundation in 2005 from Cleveland where she served as an executive for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, as Vice President of Gift Planning and Donor Relations for the Cleveland Foundation. A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Casini has a Master s degree from the University of Denver and a Bachelor s degree from The Ohio State University. She worked for Ohio State s development office. She then joined the Children s Hospital (Columbus) where she also volunteered as President of the Kinder Key Auxiliary.

Upon his graduation from University School in 1988, John attended The College of Wooster where he received his B.A. in Religious Studies. In 1988, Jonathan founded Acendex, Inc. with the objective of making a difference in the world of business through the creative and effective application of information management solutions. In addition to an M.B.A. from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Jonathan holds a number of certifications that are relevant to security and the computer networking industry. Named one of the Weatherhead 100 Outstanding Growth Companies by The Weatherhead School of Management, Acendex thrives by helping its clients to be even more successful. We provide information management and communication strategy, systems engineering, 24X7 support, secure private hosting, implementation, project management, VoIP and many other solutions to help improve the competitive edge of our clients.

Jordan is a Senior Manager in our Tax and Compliance Group. Jordan brings over 10 years of experience in public accounting to HW&Co. His focus as Tax Manager includes Payroll, State and Local, Income, and Sales and Use Taxes. In addition, Jordan also has experience working with attestation engagements. Practice areas include: Individual Taxation, Business and Nonprofit Taxation, Tax planning and compliance, Tax research, Small business formation and structuring, S- Corporation planning and strategies, Residential alien taxation. He is a member of: the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys restoring his home. He has been a member of our firm since 2013.

Anthony serves as auditor, accountant, and business advisor for privately-held companies and nonprofit organizations, including government-funded organizations and family-owned businesses. Anthony s expertise includes nonprofit organizations, skilled nursing facilities and continuing care retirement communities, manufacturers, real estate, HUD financed projects, employee benefit plans, business plan reviews, evaluating and obtaining financing, strategic and business planning, internal controls, fraud risk assessment and examination, and performing operational and business office reviews and analysis. He currently serves on the board for Crohn s & Colitis Foundation of Central Ohio and is a committee member for United Way of Delaware County s Community Impact Council.

Kerri has served more than 60 nonprofits as a consultant, and worked for nonprofits in roles from Membership Manager to Development Director to Interim Executive Director for seven years prior to founding Mollard Consulting in 2003. Her 20-year career includes numerous opportunities to create and manage programs from strategy to implementation and assessment. Her largest project is serving as campaign counsel for the $16.5 million Reeb Avenue Center on the south side.

A Manager for HW Healthcare Advisors, Michael s specializations include facility operational overviews, IT System interfaces and management, budgeting and forecasting, data mining, HIPPA compliance, managed care analysis, records management and storage, corporate compliance, software implementations, policy and procedure development, litigation support and transitional support during facility ownership changes. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the Health Care field and has done work for large national and regional chains as well as single family-owned facilities. Previously, Michael served as Vice President for a large longterm care software company and managed the company s product development, including programming, installation, training and support. Catherine Strauss is an advisor and advocate for employers with workforces in Ohio and nationally. She is also a skilled coach to human resource professionals and business executives. Preferring practical outcomes based on a keen knowledge of the law and common sense judgment, Catherine is an effective advisor in managing risks and conflict avoidance. Catherine earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of the Public Contracts Law Journal, Trial Court Board and Moot Court. She is also a proud graduate of The Ohio State University Honors Program with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Political Science.
