The Official H-E-B Product Tester Program is a chance for you, an Owner and a Partner, to provide feedback on our Own Brand (OB) products through Taste Tests and Focus Groups. As you complete these Taste Tests and Focus Groups, you will earn points and be rewarded with H-E-B Kodi products! How do I apply to become an Official H-E-B Product Tester? To sign up, please go to https://hebtester.com. Here, you will complete an application. Once your application is approved, you will have your own personal H-E-B Product Tester account where you can view the number of points you have collected, schedule tests, complete surveys and view communications. Who is eligible to become an Official H-E-B Product Tester? You must be a current H-E-B Partner in good standing, and your primary work location must be the Arsenal and/or other surrounding buildings of the corporate headquarters. Partners whose primary work location is Cypress, Blossom, Fredericksburg Road or other support buildings not located on the corporate headquarters campus, are not eligible to participate in the Program.
What happens after I apply? Once we receive your application, you will be notified within five business days if you have been accepted. Most partners will be accepted. How will I be contacted to participate in the Taste Tests and Focus Groups? When we are ready to receive your feedback on OB products, you will receive an email asking you to log on to your account. When you do so, we will typically have you complete a screener survey to ensure you qualify for the test based on the products you use or consume. If you qualify, you will be directed to schedule yourself for a Taste Test or Focus Group. How often will I be contacted to participate in the Taste Tests and Focus Groups? Our goal is for you to receive weekly communication on products to test. However, there may be periods of time when you don t hear from us for a couple of weeks or longer. Please keep in mind: though you may hear from us every week, you may not necessarily qualify to participate in every test. In addition, even if multiple tests are offered at once, you will be limited to completing three product tests in any given week. How do I schedule myself for a Taste Test or Focus Group? If you qualify for a Taste Test or Focus Group, first get your supervisor s approval to take time for a product test. Then you will self-select a date and time through your product testing account from the available options.
Once you choose a date and time, a calendar invite will be sent to your Outlook. How do I re-schedule myself for a Taste Test or Focus Group? All you need to do is log back into your product tester account and click on the Schedule icon. From there, you can select a new date and time, subject to availability. What happens if I was scheduled for a test and did not show up? If you do not show up for the test, you will not receive any points. If you miss multiple tests for which you were scheduled, we reserve the right to remove you from the program. Where will the Taste Test or Focus Groups take place? Taste Tests and Focus Groups will take place at the Arsenal. The actual location will be specified when you sign up for a test and will be included in your calendar invite. What do I need to bring to a Taste Test or Focus Group? Unless otherwise specified in the email, all you need to bring is yourself! How do I earn Kodi products for participating in Taste Tests and Focus Groups? After you complete a Taste Test or Focus Group, each point (or points) will automatically be loaded to your product tester account within 5 business days, unless noted otherwise.
Points are awarded based on the expected time needed to complete a test. Typically, you will be issued 1 point for every 15 minutes of expected test time; however, this is at the sole discretion of the administrator and is subject to change. Your participation time may vary. What type of Kodi products can I get with my points? Points Accumulated Reward 4 H-E-B Kodi Bottle Opener 10 H-E-B Kodi Hat H-E-B Kodi Tumbler or Hydration Bottle 20 (32 oz., 22 oz., or 25 oz.) 36 H-E-B Kodi Cooler (20 quart) Please note, points accumulate over the testing year. For example, after you earn 4 points, you will receive a bottle opener. If you earn another 6 points during the testing year, you will have 10 total points for the year and will receive a hat. After I earn enough points to get a Kodi product, how long will it take to receive my Kodi product? It may take up to six weeks AFTER the H-E-B fiscal period in which you qualified for the Kodi product for you to actually receive the Kodi product. For example, if you reached 4 points to earn a bottle opener in period 5, you will receive your bottle opener approximately 6 weeks after the start of period 6. If I have earned a Kodi product with my points, how will I receive it? Rewards will be delivered to your work location desk.
How long will I have to earn points and rewards? You will have one Product Testing Year which starts on April 17 th, 2018 and ends on April 17 th, 2019. Do my points carry over at the end of one product testing year? No, they do not carry over or roll over. What happens if I earn more than 36 points at the end of one product testing year? If you want to keep participating in product tests, you re welcome to do so! No additional rewards are guaranteed above 36 points, but we may issue special rewards for some of those who accumulate more points. When completing product tests, do I need to be off the clock? No. Please remain on the clock when completing product tests. For hourly partners, please complete product tests during your paid break time. Completing product tests while on the clock has been approved through H-E-B leadership, but you must get your supervisor s approval before each product test. Do I have to be on the H-E-B network to access my product testing account? No, you do not have to be on the H-E-B network. Does my password for my product testing account change when I update my OnePass? No, it does not. Your product testing account password will need to be updated separately and the site will prompt you to update your password when this is needed.
