Safety arrive to Lima airport, we ve met there and we went to our hotel in Miraflores. We ve started our adventure with Villa Marshes & Pucusana for full day. Day after; we went to Santa Eulalia for two full days. The first day was excellent, the second day in the morning was sunny but the afternoon was raining all over:( For the next days we have spent great time in Tambopata, we started with Posada Amazonas, Sandoval Lake Lodge and birding close to Puerto Maldonado for many target species. In general our birding adventure was great, we've seen many species at different location, we got some unexpected rain but even though, it was awesome!!! Page 2 Villa Marshes & Pucusana Birding in Lima is easy. Villa Marshes is located at 30 minutes drive south of Miraflores, the best hotspot is Maravilla area which is close to the ocean. Pucusana is a local fishing port over there we did a semi pelagic birding trip for two hours into the ocean and we celebrated with Ceviche & Pisco Sour! Yellow-Hooded Blackbird White-Cheeked Pintail We ve been there with our private transport and we did some birding first at Maravilla area and then we drove further to Pucusana and for our boat trip looking for Humboldt Penguin, Cormorants and one Peruvian endemic species: Surf Cinclodes The whole trip was successful! We probe it with photos for sure... Great Grebe Surf Cinclodes Inca Tern Blue-Footed Booby Santa Eulalia Valley Giant Hummingbird Santa Eulalia: from Lima is about 4 or 6 hours driving. The highlights: Peruvian Pygmyowl, Black-necked woodpecker, Great Inca-Finch, Black Metaltail, Rusty-bellied Brush-Finch, Andean Condor, White-Bellied Cinclodes among others for this particular habitat. Peruvian Pygmy-Owl Black-Chested Buzzard-Eagle For this occasion we ve done two full days spending one night at San Pedro de Castas Hotel, the hotel is basic but it has private bathrooms with hot water for shower, food is good there. We did the whole circuit and we arrived to Lima in the evening for dinner. Andean Goose Rusty-Bellied Brush-Finch

Page 3 Birds of Tambopata Black Caracara Black-tailed Tytira Horned Screamer Giant Otter Posada Amazonas Tower Luis our Local Guide We flew to Puerto Maldonado and Luis Maytaco, our local guide, was waiting for us. After some briefing we went to Posada Amazonas for 5 days. This Lodge is our new Lodge destination because Explorer s Inn Lodge is not operating anymore, unfortunately. But, Posada Amazonas is an excellent option as it is very comfortable, with private bathrooms and hot water for shower, buffet meals and great bar. After Posada Amazonas we have been to Sandoval Lake Lodge for 3 days and the rest of the time birding in Puerto Maldonado area. Great birding, excellent lodges and a lot of birds..
