Fiddes Hardwax Oils HARD WAX OIL A blend of natural oils & waxes offering exceptional durability & resistance for internal natural wood flooring, kitchen worktops (wood) and areas subjected to a high degree of wear. Produces a quick drying, natural satin / matt water repellent, tread-fast finish that will not peel or flake. Suitable for application onto children s toys EN 71 Toy Safety Test Resistant to liquids: Tested in accordance with BS 3900 G5 Resistant to wear: Tested in accordance with BS3900 E15 Coverage: A single application will cover approximately 20 24 square meters per litre, depending on the density of the substrate Tinted Hard Wax Oil A new range of 9 transparent tinted Hard Wax Oils have been formulated, offering excellent depth of colour and clarity American Antique Dark Oak English Medium Oak Onyx Walnut Whisky White Colour Chart for guidance only. Always stir contents well and check /shade prior to application. Always check colour before use and ensure contents are stirred regularly before and during application. BARRIER SEAL Fiddes Barrier Seal provides a quick drying, surface barrier coat that is ideal for application onto oily, reclaimed or contaminated floor surfaces prior to application of Fiddes Supreme Hard Wax Oil or Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax. Will dry in 15 minutes under good conditions, and may be thinned by 10 15% with Methylated Spirits where appropriate Approximately 14 square metres per litre depending on absorbency of wood
Fiddes Light Fast Water Stains Light fast water stains A range of Light Fast Water Stains, formulated to offer exceptional ease of use, combined with an unparalleled, uniform depth of colour for use on all interior wood surfaces. Preparation: Sand the wooden substrate in stages, working with a medium sandpaper (120 grit), through to a medium / fine grade (180 220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain pattern where possible, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Fiddes Wood Dyes. Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust and test the chosen Fiddes Wood Dye on a similar substrate to verify colour / shade. Stir the contents well and always check the shade before application. Application: Take a clean, lint free cotton cloth or sponge and apply in the direction of the wood grain where possible. Take care to remove any excess stain immediately with a separate, clean absorbent cloth, again following the direction of the grain pattern. To obtain a uniform colour, always wipe evenly, blending the stain over the whole surface area by exerting a degree of pressure when applying by hand. Leave to dry, and do not sand between coats. Dry Time: 1 hour at room temperature Coverage: 16 sqm per Litre (depending on substrate and method of application) Coats: 1 coat further coats will deepen colour /shade Thinners: Water Recommended for use on: Fine Furniture, Doors, Floors, Cabinet Work and Panelling Red Mahogany Mahogany Light Oak Walnut Medium Oak Dark Oak Teak Colour Chart for guidance only.
Fiddes Clear Glaze CLEAR GLAZE Fiddes Clear Glaze is an easy to use, superior quality interior single pack finish, formulated to provide very high standards of resistance and surface abrasion on most interior wood surfaces. Fiddes Clear Glaze is available in a Gloss, Satin or Matt finish. Drying Time: 4 6 Hours at room temperature Coverage: 14sqm per litre, depending on substrate and method of application Thinners: White Spirit Coats: 2 coats on hardwood, maximum of three on softwood or more porous timber Recommended for use on: Fine Furniture, Doors, Floors, Cabinet Work and Panelling Fiddes Floor Maintenance FLOOR SURFACE CLEANER Non abrasive rinse free formulation, Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner is suitable for application on to all types of pre-finished wood flooring. Revives & maintains floors, requires no rinsing & dries completely smear free. Add 2 cap fulls Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner to 4 litres of warm water Apply with a mop or cloth, ensuring even application Remove any excess residue and allow to dry Floor will dry clean in 20 minutes under normal conditions LIQUID FLOOR WAX Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax is a clean, easy to apply, quick drying wax finish which nourishes and protects whilst providing a lasting depth of sheen that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood flooring. Application: Sparingly with a clean cotton cloth Drying Time: 10 15 minutes at room temperature Coverage: 16 sqm per Litre (depending on substrate and method of application) Recommended for use on: Floors and surfaces of fine furniture and cabinet work
