2 3 Boon Lay Garden Primary School Huamin Primary School Frontier Primary School I Wonder... What will our school look like in the world of imagination? We took a journey into the imaginary world and redesigned our school environment using photography, illustration and a range of art materials! Superhero Me! Look! There is a dragon in the sky! A huge, strong dragon with colourful scales. It is flying across the forest. I am the boy who is holding the sword in my hand and riding on its back. I am a Superhero! An Imaginary Space Behind Our Bedroom Wall! Shhh It s a secret. We have an imaginary space behind our bedroom wall where we can secretly doodle things that we like and make them come alive with our special magic tools! With our own secret entrances hidden in our bedrooms, we can enter our imaginary space without anyone noticing. It s a joy interacting with each other through our doodles.

5 6 Lee Kong Chian Gardens School (MINDS) How I See Myself The colours you see are the reflection of my personality. Haig Girls School S.P.A.C.E (Special Paintings And Creative Expressions) Our outdoor sketching walks in school and around our neighbourhood inspired us to create this artwork to show our favourite spaces. We chose bright colours to show people how vibrant our spaces are. Spot the places that we have created by standing at different positions. Surprise yourself with the view! Eunos Primary School In. Visible. City Paper Sculpture This artwork is about a futuristic city with majestic and tall buildings. We created colourful buildings with many different shapes and patterns. This city is like Singapore, which has many tall buildings. The city is protected by a big teddy bear. People are the most important part of the city. They are among the visible buildings. Can you spot the people in this city?.

8 East View Primary School The space that makes us POP! Our artwork shows our free flowing minds seeking to express our many ideas, observations and experiences of our lives in East View Primary School. In ICT club, we are able to integrate our artistic energy with photography and Pop art to freeze colourful frames of us spending happy times together. Fuhua Primary School We need space! Space, space, everywhere! We need space for ourselves, our school, my classroom, our playground, his see-saw, our park, his trees, her sun, her clouds and... We want space for drawing, colouring, painting, pasting, mixing, cutting and many more So, WE NEED SPACE!

10 11 Grace Orchard School Paya Lebar Methodist Girls School (Primary) Greenridge Primary School My 9.7inch World Ceramics Comment from Art Teacher Mentor: Joshua is a student with ASD and through his work, he brings us together with him on a journey into his 9.7inch world. Re-imagining Traditional Space Ang Ku Kueh is a traditional red Chinese pastry believed to bring about good fortune and prosperity. It was a refreshing experience for us to recreate and reimagine the possibility of changing the form into hybrid creatures and characters within the traditional space. If we do not treasure and safeguard our traditional heritage and space, will it be replaced and forgotten one day? The Lives of a Forest in Danger Ceramics This collection of dioramas is about spaces lost when human activity takes over nature. Several scenes portray the different stages of stories from our imaginations, based on local habitat destruction and loss. They express our love of nature and we hope it inspires giving nature much more space to thrive.

13 14 Lakeside Primary School Coral Primary School Keming Primary School A Joyful and Harmonious Chorus Chinese ink Can you hear it? Our beautiful singing. A community of insects and birds joining in the chorus. We may be different but we live and play happily in the same space. We come together to form a joyful harmony in a common space. Packed Like Sardines The artwork is a representation of crowded spaces like the traffic jams and on buses. We value the space in our small country. Many objects are competing for the same space; buildings, trees and people. Our design shows how it would be like to be 'packed like sardines'. We hope to always have our own private space. This is where Art begins Our primary school journey begins at our desks where we are given the literal and metaphorical SPACE to grow and express our thoughts. Our presence is represented by the shoes and water bottle in the physical space. Our doodles represent our personal thoughts and feelings. Are we bending the rules? The space in our imagination allows us to!

16 Cantonment Primary School MacPherson Primary School Pokemon Town Paper There are TOO many Pokemon that there is no space to roam around. To get more space, some Pokemon have to go up the towers while some stayed on the ground. There are so many routes in Pokemon town. Some stayed on a specific route and others loved to roam. Populous Populous is a sculpture of an upsized Coca-Cola can that is populated by many little creatures. We wanted to explore the idea of a crowded space that may not be visible to the naked eye, and hence created an ecosystem with different inhabitants living together. We even planned out the societal structure of these creatures to symbolise the society we are living in.

18 St Hilda s Primary School Dream Acrylic We are dreamers dreaming of our sweet future. We are as happy as larks, singing to music like in a choir. Enjoying cool ice cream in a beautiful space surrounded by the wonders of nature with love flowing from within us for creatures big and small. Nothing is impossible - we get to achieve our hearts' desires. We are brave, whimsical, caring and adventurous. Chongfu School Harmonious Space Batik As a multi-cultural society, it is important for the people of Singapore to work cohesively towards a brighter future. The artwork represents our past struggles and how working together as a nation has helped to build a stable Singapore. The design of the batik represents how the various races in Singapore work together in a small space.

20 Westwood Primary School Ode To Space In this huge and awesome world of space, be it square, round or rectangle, everyone of us needs space. Space to breathe, pause and ponder, Space to play, think and reflect, Space to create and innovate. Together, when we join our forces, we can reach our goals, and take on the world! Zhenghua Primary School Wonders of Life What do you see in the sky? What can you spot in the sea? What makes you wonder about our land? As we explore Nature in this unique creation, we learnt to celebrate the diversity of our world we live in.
