Entry Forms must be with the Secretary no later than Wednesday 27 June 2017. No entry forms will be accepted at depots. 2. Competitors may enter all three Categories (ie. Painting, Pottery/Sculpture and Photography), but must not enter more than five (5) items in each Category. 3. Works to be at the RSL Memorial Hall no later than 4pm on Monday 2 July. The Committee reserves the right to not hang works arriving later. 4. Each work must have its name and selling price (if applicable) clearly marked on the entry form, and each work must be tagged with the label provided with the entry form. 5. The Committee reserves the right to transfer any entry to any other section or to not exhibit an entry. 6. The Committee reserves the right to have any entry reproduced in the press or by telecast for the purposes of advertising the Exhibition. 7. All works must be original work of the entrant, created in the last 2 years and not previously exhibited at Frost. 8. If exhibitor is registered for GST, GST must be included in the price of the artwork. 9. Sales commission of 25% will be deducted from all sales. Please price your work accordingly. 10. Freight will be $5 for each work, ($3 for photos) which includes delivery from and back to the depot. 11. All possible care will be taken with works, but all transport and insurance costs are to be met by the entrant. We accept no liability for loss or damage in transit or while on exhibition. 12. The champions of each category will be judged before the individual sections. These champions will be ineligible for section prizes. 13. The exhibition will close at 3pm on Sunday 8 July. For the security of works, a removal protocol will be in place. Exhibition doors will close and works will be available for collection from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. If works are to be returned to a depot please note this clearly on the entry form. Works will be available for collection from depots from 16 to 31 July. Special Conditions Painting Category 16. All painting works must be dry, framed or mounted, ready to hang, and not exceed 120x90cm (excluding frame). Special Conditions Pottery/Sculpture Category 17. All pottery is to have competitor s name and section number clearly marked. 18. All junior pottery must also have the age of the competitor clearly displayed. Special Conditions Photography Category 19. All photographs must be mounted on a rigid backing, with matt optional. Wood, chipboard, masonite and similar will not be accepted. Minimum visible image size of 20x25cm to a maximum size of 40x50cm; panoramic prints minimum 20cm to a maximum of 50cm along the longest border. Overall size, including matt or mount, must not exceed 40x50cm. Framed prints will not be accepted. 20. All junior photography must be mounted on lightweight card, not exceeding A3, with title, name and age displayed on the back. Friday 6 July Introduction to Mosaic Making 10am-4pm Local artist Arlene Weekes will take you through the basics of mosaic making in her studio and show you how to grout your work. Painting & drawing at Barraba Station Artist Andrea Bruno will help you interpret the natural and built landscapes of Barraba Station through painting and drawing.
