The BTOC covered 11 halls, with an increased exhibition area of 130,000 sqm that brought in together a total of thousands of the world's top game masterpieces, nearly 300 pan-entertainment companies from nearly 30 countries and regions exhibited at the show and launched an unprecedented game-experiencing carnival for players. Animation Carnival, an Splendid ACG Gala ChinaJoy Super League includes "ChinaJoy Cosplay Carnival National Competition" and the "Awesome Dancer Contest". "ChinaJoy Cosplay Carnival" is a top-level Cosplay event for national game anime enthusiasts. After more than ten years of experience accumulation, it has been involved from a simple stage show to a large event that intergrates photograph, video, off-line competition and international competition, and has become the most influential and authoritative Cosplay event in China. Compared with previous events along the calendar years, ChinaJoy Cosplay Carnival has been constantly reset the new records. In 2017, the competition scale has been extended to 30 cities in 11 divisions, with nearly 20,000 game animation enthusiasts participating in the game, and nearly 2,500 finalists selected from national divisions.
