I went with my niece to the doctor when she got sick and was able to explain to the doctor. Last week, I was sick and I could go buy medication. I went to the CVS and used these words to ask a pharmacist more information about medicines. I used this information when I had a sore throat. For me this is important to take correctly the medicines. I used this when I went to the Walmart pharmacy. We can use the appropriate dosage when we need medicine, like when I get a cold. I learned to read a prescription. Two weeks ago I bought medicine for my children at CVS and I talked to the pharmacist. One week ago I bought medicine for a cough and read the label for more information to take it correctly. I feel more comfortable when I go to the doctor or the pharmacy. I can read the prescription and any side effect. After I learned medicines, I am more confident when I call to the drugstore to refill medicines. I liked learning about medicines because when my children are sick I can explain to the doctor and go to the pharmacy. I bought over the counter medicines in pharmacy. I know how to take them. The information is very helpful l because I have two children. Sometimes I have to the OTC medicine i for them. I went to the doctor last week and my communication was successful. When I went to the pharmacist, it was easy to talk with him and ask about my medicines. I was sick last week and my doctor gave me a prescription and I used the information I learned here. Thank you! When my husband was sick, he went to Kaiser Permanente hospital. I listened to the doctor's instructions and I read his prescription carefully. My son had constipation so I could buy his medicine at Target. My son had it and he was recovered. Level 3 (Employment) I liked writing a good resume because this is the first effect for the employer. I got nervous in the interview and couldn't understand many questions. I went to a job interview this semester. I can write a resume and I know how to interview. I feel more comfortable now if I have to have a job interview. I went to the citizenship interview and used the information I have learned. I know how to fill out job application and how to get a job interview. I think this information can give me a chance to find a good job. I had to go to an interview for dentist assistant. Now I am getting training for that job because I knew how to do an interview. It was great because I felt very happy when I got a job.

It will help me to have a better interview when I apply for another job. I like to learn how to interview and about all kinds of jobs. By this time next year, I hope to have found a part-time job. The interview practice helped me to lose the fear. I liked the job interview because it's very useful. I applied for a job at a different company and used what I learned during class. For me it was really important because I've never had an interview in this country and the resume I did here is different than the resume I did in my country. Now I'm ready to look for a job. I went to a job interview after interview practice. It was good, but sometimes I can't understand them. The real interview is more difficult. I used the computer to write a resume. Before I didn't know how to fill in an application form. I went to apply at a market and it was very easy to fill out the application. In my last job, I was there for 10 years, but the company closed. I didn't know how to look for another job. Now I know how. This helped me a lot. My friend wanted to introduce a job for me, but they needed to see my resume. Then, our class showed us how to write our own resume. I was so happy about studying this information. This information helped me to speak more in front of people and to relax and learn more. I was able to help my children in their school projects and homework. ( a few students) It helped me practice my grammar. (many students) It made me use almost everything I learned in Level 4. Now I am more comfortable talking with classmates and neighbors. (several students) I didn't use this information yet. ( a few students) I'm not interested about interviewing someone because someone doesn't like talking about his or her life. When I was working, I used this skill to meet friends. If I have to help my children about their school project, I will use PowerPoint. PowerPoint is very useful these days. It could help me when I continue my education. ( a few students) I had to build general questions and personal questions; this activity is common in daily life. Level 6 (Career Paths) It was very useful to interview someone in English because in that way we can learn new vocabulary and improve our speaking skills. For me, it was a very important way to start developing assignments for my other classes. Doing my resume helped me a lot finding a job. For me, this information is helpful.
