MAB25 The sensors of the MAB25 series use the magnetic technology to measure a rotation angle. The axis pulls a magnet. The angular position of the magnetic field is measured by an HALL Effect sensor. The absolute angular position is then transmit by one of the threes bus available. SPI interface Description At left, the microprocessor, at right the MAB25 sensor Choose preferably a µprocessor equipt by a SPI interface. Nevertheless it can be emulated by an open collector. The datas transmission can be done on only one pin because there is not simultaneity : Host : 2 octets 0xAA 0xFF MAB25 : 2 octets of data follow by 2 octets of invert data Host: 4 octets 0xFF SSI interface Description

The SSI interface is largely used in industrials applications, particularly in absolute position sensors. Moreover it present a high immunity against electromagnetic interferencies because of the transmission by differential pairs. SER interface description
