The Frilli Gallery Collection

INTRODUCTION Frilli Gallery SCULPTURE IS OUR PASSION We at Frilli Gallery take pride in our long tradition of bringing centuries old masterpieces to everyday life. Frilli Gallery sculptures are completely and exclusively handmade. We have preserved and still use the same techniques for bronze casting and marble carving that the antique masters of Greek, Roman and Renaissance times used. This is why today more than ever, Frilli Gallery is synonymous all over the world with quality sculpture. Frilli Gallery was established in 1860, initially as a small but well-known art studio, producing museum quality replicas of classical sculptures. Replicas have always been highly valued even in past eras. Many of the classical pieces in museums today are themselves replicas of lost originals. Replicas became even more popular during the Florentine Renaissance, as Roman and Greek art was being rediscovered and the replicas of sculptures therefore became collectible items. This is how the Frilli Gallery story began and how it made its fortune and fame. Due to its renowned expertise in sculpting, many very important projects have been commissioned to Frilli Gallery, such as all of the monumental marble statues at the Stanford University Campus, to the more recent faithful bronze casting of the twin/ replica of the Gates of Paradise of the Baptistery in Florence. Over the years Frilli Gallery sculptures have been purchased by royal families, shown at international exhibitions and sold at major auction houses. The Frilli Gallery sculptures can be admired in some of the most exclusive homes and gardens, and most importantly, those who all over the world share a true passion for sculpture, collect them. The Gallery also engages new customized projects, starting from the initial concept and developing specific solutions based on the unique style, taste and requirement of each customer. There is practically no masterpiece that Frilli Gallery cannot replicate in the size requested. The Frilli Gallery quality derives from its commitment to lost wax bronze casting and hand marble carving, which both represent the true soul, spirit and excellence of Tuscany. Moreover, Frilli Gallery pieces are true replicas in the classical tradition, as they come from the original models and are not simply copies inspired by the originals. They are offered in limited certified editions, destined themselves to become true masterpieces, increasing in value over time. Our sculptures are entirely hand made, entirely driven by a true passion for sculpture making - entirely Frilli Gallery.
