Welcome Since our establishment in 2009, Refine Tile has integrated into the thriving ceramic tile industry in the Southeastern region of the United States. We always work with our core values in mind. The name Refine has a dual meaning to those of us who founded the company. In addition to describing our core services we refine tile into mosaics, bullnose and digitally printed cove base we are all being refined by life. Tile is more beautiful once fully fired and the same is true with life: when we pass through the fires and storms of life we begin to seek a greater purpose and leave a lasting legacy. CORE PRODUCTS Mosaics Using your field tile, we cut, assemble, mesh-mount and package your mosaics so they re installation-ready. Bullnose We cut, profile the edges, glaze and fire your field tile to create durable bullnose trim. Printed Products Our printed cove base and bullnose are expertly matched to your field tile and digitally printed on bisque we provide. Featured: 8 x 8 format FORMATS Specialty wall and floor tile We have a variety of formats to shape your unique space. Each Formats product is commercially rated, certified porcelain, which allows for installation on both walls and floors. Square In either 8"x8" or 12"x12", a square format is classic and sleek. As an accent to your field tile, it is a timeless choice. Hexagon Hexagons are an understated way to upgrade your space. With many tessellations, hexagons allow for countless combinations. Picket Pickets add a new dimension to your tile. Used as a border for our 8" square or alone, pickets are a versatile piece to include in your next design. Arabesque Elegant and durable, arabesque is an excellent addition to any room. Its shape alone is eye-catching, but when customized with your field tile it truly becomes exceptional. 8 9

COVE BASE Cove Base Our digitally printed cove base is completely customizable. Our graphic designers match the color and design of your field tile. Using our cove base formats, available in either smooth or textured, our printers glaze and print your samples with our state-of-the-art digital printing system. The bisque is printed with a high resolution image, then sample pieces then go in the kiln and are shipped to you for approval. Upon approval, your product is scheduled for production. BULLNOSE Bullnose Bullnose is a great way to finish a surface. During the development process, ceramic technicians select glazes for the bullnose edge that compliment the color and design of the field tile. The samples are glazed, fired, and sent to you for approval. When the samples are approved and an order is placed, the field tile is cut into the appropriate size for the desired bullnose format. Profiling wheels add a rounded bullnose edge to one length, the cut pieces are then glazed, fired, inspected and boxed for shipping. A higher end alternative is our fully digital bullnose to match your tile. This provides a seamless transition between the face of your tile and the bullnose edge. MOSAICS Mosaics Mosaics offer a practical and artful solution for transforming your space. When we receive your field tile, it is cut into shapes and sizes to meet your design intent. We provide a wide variety of meshmounted mosaic formats to meet your residential and commercial project needs in a timely matter. FORMATS Formats We offer a variety of custom designed tile on a variety of formats to help enhance your projects. Square, picket, arabesque and hexagon bisque allows you to create eye-catching designs that range from subtle to show-stopping. Much like the process for cove base, experts match the color and design, digitally print the images on our bisque and fire samples to be sent for approval. Once the samples are approved, they are ready for production. If you choose to work with us to create a custom piece, you will work closely with our designers to ensure we create a look you love. Each piece is commercially rated, certified porcelain, which makes it suitable for both floor and wall installations. BASE COVE BASE Specifications Digitally Printed Cove Base Process Our Graphic Design Team will create high resolution images from a sampling of your field tile, these images are then processed through our color profiling system and digitally printed on a glazed 6 x12 cove base structure. We can print multiple faces of the cove base to achieve a natural, random appearance to match your field tile. Textured Bisque Smooth After printing, the cove base is fired at a high temperature to achieve a sanitary cove base that is suitable for most commercial applications. Print Side Our cove base is available with both smooth and textured surfaces. We also offer inside and outside corners as well as a flat top version. Back 28 INDEX INDEX 29
BULLNOSE Specifications We do not utilize any cold or low temperature curing processes. Our Bullnose products are cut, profiled, glazed and fired to provide a ceramic surface that will last the lifetime of any installation. Our traditional bullnose dimensions range from a minimum of 3 to 6 inches in width and 8 to 24 inches in length. Our fully digital bullnose enhances the look, utilizes our bisque and saves you the cost of your field tile and shipping. Think about the possibilities - digital bullnose with hexagon and other shape field tile.
