8 / 10 Summary Compared with using the conventional elastomer, soft nonwoven fabrics can be produced by using L-MODU, without reducing the spinnability. Processability (1) Using S600 or S901 as an additive, spinning was stable and there was no fiber breaking. (2) The uniformity of nonwovens could be improved by adjusting the spinning conditions because L-MODU could offer the wide molding range. Properties (1) The softness of fabrics could be improved by using L-MODU S600 and/or S901. (2) The properties of tensile and softness were almost equal even if either grade S600 or S901 was chosen. (3) Nonwovens of L-MODU +PP had high heat sealing strength.
