XATH Cast Resin Transformer Going Green Termination Bars Assembly Section Testing Section XATH cast resin transformers have the highest standard of quality and reliability by using precision equipments and advanced state-ofthe-art technology. XATH Cast resin transformers are safe, nonflammable, fire resistance, pollution-free (no coolants required) and moisture-proof. They are unnecessary to be maintained. Installation is simple even can be fixed close to load centers. XATH Cast resin transformers have low energy running cost, low partial discharge, low noise level, high short time overload capacity, powerful heat-sinking capacity and when equipped with forced air fan, the temporary power may be increased up to 150% of the rated capacity. What is more, XATH Cast Resin Transformers HV and LV winding are both vacuum casted which guarantee optimum performance. In short XATH Cast Resin Transformers are safe and environmental friendly. The Core XATH transformers cores are constructed using high quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheet with advance cutting, lamination and assembly process. The sheets are cut in high precision and stacked by fine grades stepped construction and form 45 full oblique joint. This high precision step lap method reduces no-load losses and the idling current, ensuring great reduction of transformer noise level. resin casting by xath Construction of Cast resin composite material, namely Glass fiber reinforcement of windings is the master piece of the XATH Cast resin transformer. The composite material is perfectly blended to has high tensile strength and a coefficient of expansion close to that of copper. The material has good corrosion resistance, fire retarded and good resistance to temperature shocks. The cycle of polymerization is precisely controlled in vacuum chamber to guarantee no air intrusion. All XATH transformers LV and HV windings are both vacuum casted, which means guarantee free of voids. Cooling ducts are created to give efficient heat dissipation which guarantee high service life of transformer. low voltage windings Winding Process XATH transformers low voltage windings are constructed using insulated copper foil, laminated with DMD insulation papers. The connection between the copper foil and the terminal bars are made through precision Argon shield arc welding. The completed winding is impregnated at vacuum system at high temperature and form a smooth solid body of fiber glass reinforced epoxy. High voltage windings XATH transformers high voltage windings are constructed using enameled copper wire in double layer winding. The windings are wound with fiberglass on both sides on precision winding machine. enclosure (optional) The transformers can be protected with enclosure, either indoor or outdoor according to protection grade. The commonly used IP20 enclosure provides protection against the entrance of foreign objects with diameter greater than 12mm and only fit for indoor. Enclosure is made of either epoxy painted mild steel or aluminium alloy plates. Forced air ventilation system (optional) When temporary power increases are expected then forced air ventilation system is recommended. The ventilation kit is provided with an electrical panel to control the fan using temperature device. With this optional fixture, the power may be increased up to 150% of the rated capacity.
