HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT Phyllis Gross, Chairperson General rules: 1. Exhibits will be accepted (Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m.) at the Main Exhibit Hall. No entries can be accepted after 8:00 p.m. ONLY Exhibitors will be allowed in the building on Tuesday. 2. Articles may not be removed until Sunday, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Prior removal will result in forfeiture of premiums. 3. All articles will be under the control and care of the Home Economics Committee and every possible care will be taken to prevent damage, but in no case will the Committee or the Fair Association be held liable for any damage or loss. 4. The Exhibit Hall will open at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Until this time, the Committee will be busy assisting judges and arranging displays. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED UNTIL 6:00 p.m. 5. One entry per person, per class. Classes are open to any age. 6. All items must be created by and belong to exhibitors, and must not have been previously entered. 7. Any item meant to be hung must be ready to hang before entering, using wire and screws. 8. Ribbons and premiums are listed by division and awarded per class as merited. 9. Open classes will receive 1 blue, 1 red and 1 white ribbon per class if merited. For each item entered in Home Economics, a raffle ticket will be issued. The ticket may be entered in any of the raffles provided by local businesses.
