Coe Family Wealth Director Senior Vice President Financial Planning Specialist Matt brings over 25 years of financial services experience to the MCM Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he is responsible for establishing and overseeing the group's efforts in areas involving asset management and discretionary portfolio management. Matt has worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney since 1995 and is a senior partner of the sixmember Group. For the second consecutive year, Matt has been recognized by NJ Monthly Magazine as a Top New Jersey Wealth Manager. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Matt spent 10 years with First Union Capital Markets in a similar capacity covering middle market institutions and high-net-worth clients. Having achieved the Family Wealth Director designation, Matt and his team are positioned to provide unparalleled access to experiences, resources, products and services to their high-net-worth clients. Matt has a B.A. in Political Science/Government from St. Lawrence University. He completed the Management Training Program at First Fidelity Bank in 1985. Todd has 9 years of industry experience (8 years with the MCM Group) and focuses on financial planning strategies and analysis. As a CFP certificant, Todd helps clients navigate financial and life transitions. He works collaboratively with clients to create customized, comprehensive financial plans designed to address financial blind spots. Additionally, Todd is the Group's life insurance, long term care, and annuity specialist. With that specialty, Todd provides clients with reviews of existing policies in addition to offering income replacement and wealth transfer solutions. Todd attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he acquired his Bachelor s degree in Communication, with a minor concentration in Economics. Todd is a founding Board Member of the Apothecary Theatre Company in NYC, and currently resides in Morristown, NJ with his wife Laura. Marchan Registered Marketing Associate Assistant Vice President Deena is the marketing associate on the MCM Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She has been with the firm for over 8 years and with the team for 5. She began her career as a sales assistant and obtained her Series 7, 66, and life and health insurance licenses. As the team s marketing associate Deena plays an integral role in the fact-finding/ discovery phase of financial planning, provides timely market information to clients, creates portfolio review reports, and updates our team website. Catherine R. Ostenfeld Senior Registered Associate With over 20 years in the financial industry and a meticulous attention to detail, Cathy is well equipped to provide the high level of service that the clients of The MCM Group have come to expect and deserve. Though most of her career has been spent working directly with high net worth clients and their advisors, she also spent several years in branch operations, which has given her a unique insight into the inner workings of the branch office. This broad based knowledge of the retail brokerage industry is an asset to both the team and its clients. Cathy is Series 7 and Series 66 licensed. Over her career, Cathy has been the recipient of several recognition awards for providing a high level of service to both the advisors that she works with and their clients. Most recently, she was chosen to receive the Service Excellence Award for the first quarter of 2012. This award was designed to recognize Morgan Stanley Smith Barney employees who have exceeded their clients' expectations, demonstrated an outstanding repeatable service achievement and whose actions exhibit excellent service. Throughout her career Cathy has consistently performed her duties in this manner. She possesses a strong work ethic and is dedicated to providing world class service. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her family, working on home improvement projects, outdoor activities and reading. Lauren Bushoven Client Service Associate Lauren is a client service associate with The MCM Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She has been in the financial services industry for two years and recently joined the firm. As a client service associate, Lauren is responsible for handling client requests, processing transactions, and assisting the financial advisors in the group with daily tasks. She currently holds her Series 7 and Series 24 licenses. Lauren graduated with a B.A. from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She currently resides in Wayne, New Jersey with her husband. When she s not at work, Lauren enjoys reading, playing the piano, and running.
