The le er is sent at the 10c PRE-UPU le er rate. The red manuscript 2 1/2 d is the Bri sh claim.

Contents relate to an adver sement for selling Indian lands along the Grand River. Timely!!. Item #9. 1894 #P9 1c Rose e postal card (scrape at right) with #35 1c Small QUeen cork cancelled from Niagara Falls Center, Ont (MY 7 94) via Hamilton, Ont (MY 8) to Hamburg, Germany paying 2c UPU postcard rate, but a ached photograph resulted in it being le er rated and therefore shortpaid, T hs and ms 15 in blue, ms 25 in blue as well. No evidence of postage due being collected in Germany. $200

(assistant censor at North Sydney). Mayo records only one example of this handstamp. Miller records the earliest date as Apr 27, 1942, this is 1941 and predates that. $120
