Obituary Robert Burrell AGE: 49 Bayville Robert Burrell, 49, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on November 20, 2015, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was born in Staten Island, NY. He lived in South Toms River and moved to Bayville 30 years ago. Robert worked for the County of Ocean as a Senior Maintenance Repair Carpenter for the past 27 years. He was a member of Harmony Lodge #18 F&AM, Toms River and Sextant Lodge #286 F&AM, Beach Haven, NJ. Robert was a charter member of the Civil War Lodge of Research #1865 Virginia and member of York Rite Masonry. He was a recipient of the Grand Masters Distinguished White Apron Award. He was a devoted Advisory Board member of Holly Assembly #56 International Order of Rainbow for Girls and Master of the Grand Cross of Color. Robert was predeceased by his father Douglas M. Burrell. Surviving is his loving wife Lynn Nash Burrell of 18 years; one daughter Kathleen "Katy" Burrell at home; his mother Darlene Britton of Missouri; two brothers: Douglas Burrell and his wife Petra of Texas and Sean Burrell and his wife Denise of Missouri; two sisters: Darlene Gregory of Texas, and Donna O'Hagan of Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 6th, 1PM, at Harmony Lodge, 110 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to: Holly Assembly #56, c/o Harmony Lodge, PO Box 771, Toms River, NJ 08754. Robert E. Garvey, III April 14, 1961 - December 29, 2015 Obituary Major Robert E. Garvey, III passed away on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at his residence in Monroe Twp. Born on April 14th, 1961, Robert was a lifelong scholar achieving a B.A. in history from Tulane University, a M.S. in management from Thomas Edison State College, and was to complete his doctorate in education at Rowan University in the coming spring. His aptitude for business yielded honor and recognition as an engineer, and real estate broker. Robert was an insurance underwriter for Markel, and achieved the rank of Major, serving in the US Army. Dynamic in nature, Robert's interests fostered affiliations with the New Jersey National Guard Officer Association, Military Officers Association of America, the American Legion Post 127, BPOE-Elks Lodge #2180, Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 53, the Edger Cayce Society, the Historic Associations of Jamesburg & Millstone Township, and the Monroe Township Historic Registered Properties Association. In addition, he was a Master Mason of Harmony Lodge No.18 of F. & A. M., 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, Knights Templar of the Corson Commandery #1, past president of the National Sojourners of Northern NJ, and NJ Lodge of Masonic Research and Education No. 1786. He was a lifelong parishioner of Saint James The Less RC Church, Jamesburg. His passions included literature, history, spiritualism, and animals. "Bobby" was a compassionate and loving man, always trying to help others and do the next right thing. He will be Greatly Missed by all whose lives he touched. He is survived by his children Robert IV, & Mary, his loving soul mate Gay 'Mary' Simons, his parents Robert Jr. and Kay, and his brothers Patrick, Michael, and Sean.
