Michael Kifer 'Expressive, Painterly Earthenware' Working as a potter for over 30 years, Michigan-based potter, Michael Kefir, will spend the weekend demonstrating his whimsical approach to textured clay construction. He will also demonstrate his painterly approach to decorating clay, by spraying and brushing underglazes, and various other methods to decorate and embellish his work. 1
FIBRE ARTS BEGINNERS FELTING Learn to felt with the Fibre Arts Group. Create simple landscape designs. First night will be a sunset and the second night will be a simple landscape of your choice (approximately 8 X 10). Kit Fee is less than $20.00 and will include everything that you will need. By using creative stitches, wide cut sculpting, a bit of Proddy, Sari silks, textured yarn, Trapunto and a bit of glitz etc., you will further develop a unique hooking style. Class will work a linen sampler, 10 x 8, with the methods demonstrated. Notes will be provided for future reference.
