APPENDIX B: DETAIL DRAWINGS OF SELECTED IMPROVEMENT TECHNIQUES This appendix provides schematic drawings (not to scale) that illustrate the materials, form, and construction of selected improvement techniques. These drawings are not intended to substitute for site-specific engineering design. Site-specific calculations should be completed by a qualified hydrologist, engineer, and/or landscape architect to determine appropriate rock sizing, structure dimensions, etc. for installation in a particular location. In most cases, installation of these types of projects will require relevant State, County, and City permits. It is recommended that the publications, tables, and resources provided in chapter 4 of this document be consulted prior to designing or constructing any of these improvement measures. Particular care should be exercised when construction involves disturbance of areas within the annual high water level of any stream. List of Drawings: Drawing 1. Drawing 2. Drawing 3. Drawing 4.
