The front shows an orange Registration Label "84" at right which has been struck by a black "BAHRAIN" single-line handtsamp in the centre, and all stamps have been individually cancelled with Bahrain registered postmarks dated 26 JAN '44. The envelope was later opened and resealed at right with a white crowned "OPENED BY EXAMINER" censor seal. A scarce postal stationery envelope with Higgins & Gage noting "This item has been reported but never seen by the editor". H&G C2 unpriced mint or used. 1,250 56 1933-37 KGV 2r carmine & orange.
